On September 23rd, Rise Recovery CEO, Evita Morin spoke to over 100 Northeast ISD campaign coordinators for the 2022 Combined School District Charitable Campaign through United Way. Evita spoke about the importance of giving back, Rise Recovery's mission, and the current trends surrounding the fentanyl crisis.

Rise Recovery 2022/23 Speaker Series

We are excited to announce our October speaker, Dr. Heather Holder! Dr. Holder was the first board-certified forensic psychologist to start work in San Antonio. Today she works as a conscientious and effective examiner and consultant across a variety of criminal justice settings.


Dr. Holder will speak about Dual Diagnosis: a situation in which a patient has both a mental health disorder as well as a substance use issue.

Plants and Nature Can Improve Your Mental Health

September 16-18 we hosted approximately 60 participants at the

H-E-B- Foundation Camp for our annual retreat where they were given impactful programming that was brought about through the story of "Drop the Rock".
