2026 SWOOP OF THE CRANES


The cranes are flying into Monte Vista! This week, you’ll see our beautifully decorated cranes hanging all along Hwy 160 and down Adams Street. We invite everyone to take a stroll, drive through, and admire the incredible creativity and talent our artists have shared with the community.



A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors for helping bring public art to our town and making this project possible. We’re so grateful for your support in celebrating creativity in Monte Vista!

We’re excited to invite you to a special in-person dinner event hosted by the Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Employee Ownership Center (RMEOC)!

Join us for an evening of great food, engaging conversation, and community connection as we explore how employee ownership, cooperatives, and succession planning can help strengthen local businesses and keep our economy thriving.


To help us plan dinner and materials, please don’t forget to register and let us know you’ll be joining us. If we don’t receive enough registrations, we may pivot to a virtual Zoom session—so we encourage you to come out and be part of the conversation in person!


Come hungry and leave inspired—together, we can build a stronger, more resilient Monte Vista.
