HNB-SLU Hot Meals Program
|
|
The outpouring of support for the HNB-SLU Family Dinner program was so great that funds were provided for a second meals program, the HNB-SLU Hot Meals program.
Phase one of the HNB Hot Meals program is for HNB entrepreneurs and for people in their community that could benefit from a hot meal. The HNB entrepreneurs were provided food coupons to be redeemed at the restaurants of two HNB entrepreneurs, Byron Hayes, owner of Joe-Jo's Fish and Chicken, and Deborah Norman, owner of Samplings by Ms. Deb at Tripe City.
Phase two of the Hot Meals Program is to provide hot meals
during June, July and August 2020 for the children, youth and staff at Annie Malone Children and Family Services, catered by HNB entrepreneur Bryan Young, owner of Bryan Young's Catering Kitchen.
We encourage you to support the HNB business owners.

SLU Management Class Donates $275 to the HNB Family Dinner Program
|
This past Spring semester, Michael Shaner, a Management 3000 instructor, gave his students the opportunity to donate to a charity of their choice for some extra credit points. HNB Marketing Intern, Samantha Schmidt, spoke up during a class discussion on behalf of donating to HNB as the designated charity. "Habitat is one of the best non-for-profits I have come across, and I wanted to encourage other SLU students to join in on giving back to the St. Louis community; especially during these hard times of uncertainty for the entrepreneurs". The class raised $275 to donate to the HNB Family Dinner Program.
