INSTRUCTOR LEVEL CERTIFICATION

Setcan® Corporation was established in 2006 to provide ONLY the finest reality based training products and Instructor training certifications available to Officer Safety/Defensive Tactics/Use of Force/Instructor Trainers and Master Instructors in law enforcement, military, corrections and security agencies.

The scheduling for our 2023 course calendar has been very active. As a result, we are currently accepting booking requests for instructor level certification courses with available dates beginning in July and running through December. We have highlighted a few of our courses below.

This informative, three-day (24-hour) course is designed to provide students with substantial hands-on experience with Simunition® FX® training ammunition technology, weapons conversion kits, and the Simunition® line of protective equipment. Additionally, this course will provide in-depth, hands-on instruction in scenario-based training program development and training methodology. It will present practical experience to students on the best use of Simunition® training products in a highly-effective, realistic, extremely safe training program.

The course teaches three primary principles that provide guidance to effectively respond to any type of homicide in progress. This provides simplicity and flexibility to ensure retention of the training and resistance to breakdown under high stress conditions. There is a heavy emphasis on rapid response strategies where officers are fighting against time.The three day course utilizes a cumulative approach that finishes with realistic dynamic scenarios to reinforce the principles taught on the course.

A program based on principles that can be applied in an unlimited manner, while still falling within operating guidelines of justified force. This 5 day course (evening work required) will cover the full spectrum of Empty Hand Tactics.

Setcan Corporation offers both open and closed training certification courses to LE, Military, Corrections, Security and other Training Institutions. Closed courses are Setcan courses that are specifically designed or delivered to a single agency. These courses are not available to outside agencies, since all spaces are filled by the host agency.
