PCN'S NEW CHURCH PLANTING CONNECTION
We are pleased to announce that JD Pearring will be our new church planting connection for Pacific Church Network. JD is the director of Excel Leadership Network, which has made it their mission to find and equip high-level leaders who feel called to plant churches with many networks around the world, including Transformation Ministries. We look forward to this new chapter of our church-planting ministry.

Brian Howard, after nine very fruitful years of directing our church planting ministry, has now moved on as the CEO of Acts29 worldwide. We are grateful for his leadership within PCN and pray for God's continued blessing upon him in this new responsibility.

CHURCH PLANTING CONNECTION EVENT
PCN's church planters and church leaders are invited to attend this training event in Pasadena with other church planters from the SoCal area. This event is hosted by JD Pearring, Chris Hall and Pastor Jeff Snodgrass, lead pastor of Unite Church.

SPANISH MEN'S CONFERENCE

HOLY LAND TOUR 2023
We are happy to announce that PCN is planning a trip to Israel next year, May 2-12, 2023, with an extension trip to see the pyramids in Egypt and the ancient city of Petra in Jordan. This trip is similar to one we had scheduled in March 2020 but had to cancel because of the pandemic. Israel is now open to tourist, and we encourage you to check out more on our website. Man Camp

Join us this fall for a great weekend getaway. Our English retreat will be Friday dinner through Saturday dinner (with the option of staying an extra night). Guest Speakers so far include Bishop Garrett, Aaron Newman, Thien Doan, and Jim Smith.
Our Spanish Men's retreat will be Friday dinner through Sunday 11 a.m.

TIMELY WORKSHOP
Thanks to Justin Anderson, All Souls Church in Burbank, for his very practical workshop on how to communicate the gospel clearly through our teaching opportunities.
Some takeaways...
-Start with the practical and end up with the Biblical (practical reasons, ethical reasons, theological reasons, Biblical reasons).
-The Bible is trustworthy, but many in the world don't believe it.
-We should always be thinking apologetically.

WHAT'S THIS ABOUT CALSAVERS?
If you don't know about the CalSavers Retirement Savings Program and the upcoming deadline to enroll by June 30, 2022, here's the scoop. According the ChurchHRNetwork...
1. CalSavers was established by the State of California to provide employees a way to save for retirement through automatic payroll deduction. Employers are generally required by law to register for CalSavers if they do not sponsor a retirement plan and have five (5) or more employees.
2. Religious organizations are exempt from this program under state law and are not required to participate. Religious organizations are also exempt from the program's registration requirements. Therefore, no action is required regarding CalSavers
