Learning Path Enrollment: New Employee Cybersecurity Awareness Training 2023
This email is to announce your enrollment in the required cybersecurity training. Whenever you are enrolled in a course in the LMS, either as required training or optional training, you will receive an email similar to this one. Be sure to look out for new training enrollment emails in the future, and be sure to read them when you get them to be aware of any training you need to complete.

This particular training is a required course for all County employees and is required to be completed by the end of the year. Cybersecurity is important for all employees to help keep our network and our data secure. It is also good to know for your personal computer and online account use. MIS strongly supports this training and hopes you will learn a lot from it to enhance your security skills.

What else do I need to know about the LMS?
In addition to the required courses that you will be automatically enrolled in, there are also a series of courses that are available in the open catalog of Countywide Learning that you can self-enroll.
There are a variety of topics that are available to all employees. Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for some of these courses:
  • Learning with Cook County Learns! - learn the basics of the LMS platform and how to manage your training. If you are a supervisor, look for the Managing with Cook County Learns to find out how to check on the training status of your direct reports.
  • VOIP Phone End User Training - learn how to use all of the features of CISCO VOIP phones
  • Employee Self-Service (ESS) - learn about how to use the ESS portal to access your W2, your pay stubs, benefits enrollment, and more.
  • CCT - various courses are available for the CCT timekeeping platform, such as Requesting Time Off and Viewing Time Sheets and Accrual Balances

You can also click the Catalog icon on the left-hand sidebar of the LMS screen and browse through all of the courses that are available for self-enrollment.

We hope that you enjoy using this new resource and look forward to developing more online training courses for Clerk of Court employees.
