MESSAGE FROM THE RECTOR
It’s here—Calvert Arts Festival weekend!
Every year, this event reminds me what it looks like when a whole church community pulls together to accomplish something amazing. It takes hours of planning, countless volunteers, and more than a little muscle to pull it off—but it’s always worth it. Not only is the Festival our largest fundraiser, supporting our community partner non-profits, it’s also one of the ways we open our doors and show the wider community who we are: joyful, welcoming, and dedicated to making a difference.
Whether you’re helping with parking, selling goods, managing the silent auction, or just showing up to support and mingle, THANK YOU! Your energy, your willingness to pitch in, and your enthusiasm bring this festival to life. Let’s make this year’s the best yet!
And after all the fun and hard work on Saturday, I hope you’ll come back Sunday to be renewed in worship. The Rev. Randy Callender, Canon for Mission in our diocese, will be preaching (you won’t want to miss his powerful message). We will also commission our new Planned Giving Board, a milestone in our stewardship and care for the future of All Saints. And since it’s Mother’s Day, there will be a special prayer and blessing for all mothers and those who nurture others.
What a weekend! I can’t wait to see you all in action and in worship.

ECW Updates
To all our bakers and crafters, you can drop off baked goods and items to the parish kitchen between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. TODAY or bring them Saturday morning by 9 a.m. Please make sure your baked goods are labeled and priced.
Join the ECW Community
All parish women are welcome to join us in our mission to serve the parish and community. Whether you can attend our monthly meetings (held on the third Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. in the parish hall) or not, we invite you to get involved. Contact Jill Dowell at (443) 610-5294 to find an ECW mission that meets your passion!
Our next business meeting is next Saturday, May 17th, at 9 a.m. downstairs in the Parish Hall.

| The Men's Breakfast is always the first Saturday of every month at 9:00 am at Traders Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach. Jim Thrift, our convener, will be in attendance setting up the room before 9:00. The breakfasts are for all Christian men for fellowship and fun. We discuss most everything except religion.
