They offer a great resource to track legislation moving through the State Legislature and are a fantastic resource to help advocate for your clients and community. Two New Workgroups

Housing Leadership Group

CIN is convening a diverse group of Housing stakeholders to help integrate the various conversations related to Housing. One of the main barriers to rising above poverty is housing affordability and safety. This group is working on a clear picture of the housing data for the region and then will bring that to the community for more discussion and action. Please reach out if interested in participating.

Workforce Devel. Group

Nebraska Dept. of Labor - a CIN Partner - has been convening regular meetings since September to address workforce development initiatives, challenges and opportunities. Schools from throughout the region, employers and workforce initiatives are learning about opportunities and getting ahead of potential challenges. The DOL remains a great resource for any job- or training-seeker.

Steering Committee Reach-Out

The CIN Steering Committee (member list here) will be working to meet and get-to-know CIN Partners throughout the next year. The intent is to help further collaborative brain-storming in a way that supports each partner and adds to the collective work of the Network.
