Respite for All #50 Opens in McDonough, GA, on Feb. 7

The Henry County Chamber of Commerce in McDonough, Georgia, held a ribbon cutting for Living Well Respite Care on February 6, and we are so excited to welcome this new respite community to the RFA family. Director Vivian Crawley has worked hard to champion and prepare for the launch of this ministry, which officially opened on February 7 and is hosted by Tabernacle of Praise Church.

News Spreads about RFA in Wisconsin

The new ministry and its connection to Respite for All were recently featured in an article in the local Leader-Telegram. Click to read The Battle of Dementia.

RFA Gathers for Annual Training

It’s almost here, and we can’t wait! We’re expecting 200 attendees from 34 cities and 17 states to join us for the Whirlwind conference, scheduled for March 2-4, and we’re thankful to our hosts, Encore Respite Ministry at Canterbury UMC in Birmingham, for opening up their wonderful facility for all of us to gather and learn from our fabulous keynote speakers – and each other. We’re especially excited that we’re going to be able to share with our attendees the first viewing of the documentary that we’ve been working on since last summer.

Save the Date

We’re making plans now for another exciting Brain Science Luncheon. Please mark Thursday, October 9 on your calendar, and we’ll share more details later this spring.

The mission of the Respite for All Foundation is to inspire, grow, and mentor Volunteer Respite Ministries for communities seeking to minister to persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia disorders through education and shared best practices.
