Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney's Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films!

Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

This show is produced by all three junior high acting classes and features 35 7th and 8th graders. Don't miss this one time only performance on Friday, February 9th at 6:00pm. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 students and children and free for faculty and staff.

LOWER SCHOOL INFORMATION

From Chaplain Garcia...

Dear Families,

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is blessed to have the ability to utilize the church to conduct our chapel services.

As a sacred place for worship, we want to do our part to preserve the sanctuary. We ae kindly asking our Lower School community to refrain from bringing food and/or beverages of any kind to chapel.

I know you will agree that as guests of the church, it’s important to show our appreciation by taking care of this beautiful space.

Thank you for your understanding,

Chaplain Garcia

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM NURSE KINDEM

Dear Lower School Parents:

We've had quite a few students out due to illness this week. A majority of those cases are Flu B. We wanted to bring to your attention the signs and symptoms of Flu B so you know what to look for:

Influenza B Symptoms

  • Cough
  • Fatigue
  • Fever—though everyone does not have a fever—or chills
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea—which are more common in children
  • Headaches
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat

In addition, we are seeing students requiring a few extra days to recover from their illness. If your child is unable to tolerate eating or has no energy, we encourage you to keep them home. Our teachers will work with your child to get them caught up on what they have missed.

We ask that you err on the side of caution if your child reports they are unwell. The Flu virus is highly contagious.

Lastly, we wanted to remind you of our return to school protocols after illness, taken directly from our HT Family Handbook. If you have questions as to when your child can return to school, please don't hesitate to reach out to Nurse Stacey at 321-723-8323 ext. 260 or [email protected].

The 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open, and each senior family should complete it: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

Latest update from FAFSA: Wednesday (1/31/2024) the U.S. Department of Education released an Electronic Announcement notifying the U.S. colleges that institutions would receive FAFSA applicant information in March at the earliest. Therefore, aid offer letters may not arrive from colleges until sometime in April. The issuance of aid letters will vary from institution to institution. Obviously, this delay creates extraordinary challenges and anxiety for students, families, and higher ed institutions.

Seniors - Please monitor your student portals and email carefully to keep up with how your universities will handle this disruption to the typical enrollment timeline.
