Welcoming a new CEO
In his first few weeks on the job, new EBCAP President and CEO, Rilwan K. Feyisitan Jr., has been visiting EBCAP locations throughout East Providence, Bristol County, and Newport County. During these “meet and greets,” Rilwan has been getting to know staff, touring the facilities, and even reading to a Head Start class! One of his top priorities is to meet with employees to get to know them and learn all he can about the organization. Please join us all in welcoming Rilwan to EBCAP!
Our Head Start students were mesmerized as Rilwan read them a book.
Rilwan is greeted by staff at the agency's East Providence headquarters on his first day of work - January 17, 2023.
Staff at the Newport Health Center welcomed Rilwan with a tour of the facility and a wonderful
lunch.

EBCAP hosts job fair/ community resources event
EBCAP held its first ever combined agency services and job fair event at the CCRI Newport campus on January 26, 2023. During this event, community members were invited to come learn more about open job positions or how to access services, or both. Many thanks to our friends at CCRI for hosting this event!

We were delighted to welcome new Mayor Xaykham “Xay” Khamsyvoravong of Newport who dropped in to show support and learn more about EBCAP services.

The event was a great success, as EBCAP staff met with many potential job candidates and community members who needed assistance in accessing our services. We look forward to holding similar events in the future.
