In the fall of 2014 Michaeline Saladyga and I had a dream. We wanted to start a different kind of feeding program. Not the usual soup kitchen type place, a place where kids and families felt safe, where the lonely felt loved, where everyone felt welcomed and not judged about
why they were here.
Taunton Area Community Table opened on January 15, 2015. In 11 years since then the dream has come true. TacT is a leader among feeding programs; we are part of the fabric of Whittenton and everyone that comes to our door is fed and welcomed like an old friend.
This is an amazing place and as I start the transition to retirement, I couldn’t be prouder of this organization, the volunteers and the staff.
