November 2026 Michigan Supreme Court Endorsements

By Wayne J. Miller

This year, you have the chance to ensure a fair and just Michigan Supreme Court by voting for Chief Justice Megan Kathleen Cavanagh and Justice Noah P. Hood. Both Cavanagh and Hood are deeply committed to fairness for all Michiganders, and we trust them to protect our rights and expand justice for the most vulnerable in society.

For decades, wealthy corporations and powerful special interests were able to use their influence on our courts to successfully attack people’s rights in every area of the law. Through their recent rulings and decisions, Justices Cavanagh and Hood have shown that they care about people over profits. Earlier this year, they reinstated the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, once again allowing Michiganders like you to fight back against deceptive and unethical businesses.

Cavanagh and Hood will keep our state’s highest court working for you.

A vote for Cavanagh and Hood, along with the other statewide, judicial, and legislative candidates endorsed by the Michigan Association for Justice, is our best chance to ensure a fairer, more just future. To find these endorsed candidates, visit the online MAJ Endorsement Guide and refer to it while voting.

Early voting begins September 24th and runs through November 1st. For more information on early voting or to check your voter registration status, please visit www.michigan.gov/vote. We encourage you to vote early either in-person or with an absentee ballot for Justice Megan Kathleen Cavanagh, Justice Noah P. Hood, and all the pro-civil justice candidates endorsed in our voter guide.

PLEASE NOTE: Cavanagh, Hood, and other judicial candidates are on the nonpartisan section of your ballot. Straight party voting does NOT include judges. When you vote, make sure to find the section for nonpartisan races and fill in the bubbles for Cavanagh and Hood.

Your vote is your power to ensure that everyone can have their day in court before a fair judge and an impartial jury.
