Celebrating 11 Years of MTM in Philadelphia Schools

Featured above are Liz, Peg and Karen–with a combined 30 years of MTM teaching experience!

For over a decade, Mindfulness Through Movement has been bringing mindfulness practices into Philadelphia schools—11 years of helping students build focus, resilience, and emotional well-being. This spring, we proudly marked this milestone not only by reflecting on the impact of our work, but also by celebrating the incredible MTM teachers who make it all possible. What started with one teacher in one school has blossomed to 13 MTM teachers teaching 45 weekly classes in 19 Philadelphia schools.

We brought our dedicated instructors together for a special lunch at Suraya in Philadelphia to honor their commitment and the powerful role they play in supporting students every day. Here's to continuing the journey toward healthier, more mindful classrooms and communities across the city.
