Get ready for Winter Registered Programs!

Are you ready to slide into winter fun at the YMCA?

Winter term registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. ONLINE on Friday, December 12. Please make sure that your child's membership is ACTIVE before registering. The Winter Term Program Guide is available to view on our website, so you can plan all of your fun, winter activities!

This term, we are continuing with rolling registration for swimming lessons. This means there is no need to re-register for swimming lessons. Your child will just roll right into the next session. If you are new to joining swimming lessons, and you find the lesson level you need is full, you are asked to add your child to the swim lesson waitlist. For more information about the waiting list, please see page 5 in the Winter Program Guide.

In the winter term, we are introducing rolling registration for five youth programs! Basketball, Aikido, Muay Thai, Squash and Gymnastics will all roll over to the next session. This means that you will not need to re-register your child for the winter term for the above-mentioned programs. Your child's spot will automatically rollover into the next session, and this will continue until the end of the Spring Term in June 2026. For more information about this development, please see page 17 in our Winter Program Guide.

If you are joining us as a new YMCA member, we like to remind you of the incredible benefits of membership. Subject to availability, children and youth can register for three programs, per term. This can include ONE swimming lesson program per term. Additional programs will cost $50.00 per term. Members will also have access to open gym times, recreational and family swims, and Optimus Climb, our indoor play structure. The cost of a children's membership is only $25.03 (no HST) bi-weekly.

We can't wait to see what you get up to this winter!
