Dots and Dashes by Jen-- A one-of-a-kind shopping experience offered in beautiful downtown Monte Vista. When I first started my business I chose to be a vendor, travelling around from town to town selling my handmade items. Though fun--it was met with challenges of weather and damage to my items in transit. So in September of 2025 I was offered an amazing opportunity to share a perfect location with an already existing dog grooming business, Dots and Dots and Dashes by Jen the STORE became a reality in October 2025! The Dots and Dashes name originated from my line of Morse Code jewelry. I offer beaded bracelets on cotton cording, hand stamped bracelets, and necklaces. I also offer a wide variety of other my other handmade items such as a full selection of handmade seasonings and infused salts, extracts, and handmade candy-- a lot of other jewelry items (including a few personalized options), Doggone bows and bandanas, hand decorated notebooks and pens, an entire table of DIY pens, keyrings, and badge holders, suncatchers, windchimes, and much more! Besides my line of handmade items, I also have 16 local artists that carry their unique, handcrafted items in my store. I have stained glass items made from upcycle dishes, laser cut and wood burned items, 3D printed toys, dried flower art, handmade cards, Amish made items, goat milk soaps and lotions, micro-photography items, tie-dyed items, wood signs, and hand poured beeswax or soy based candles and wax melts. I also offer gift cards and complementary gift bags to make your shopping a true one stop shop!
