Our program is growing and I'm excited to share all the news :)
Highlights to celebrate!
WE'VE TRAINED 9 NEW TUTORS IN 2026 SO FAR!
How exciting is that??
We had 11 folks show up to hang out at the library on February 11th for our winter tutor open house.
It was really nice to see everyone, and David shared a story that had us all a little misty eyed :)
Our next event will be in late April!
We have made great progress in supporting kids throughout the school day across the district!
We are in the high school, helping with math and literacy during intervention times
We are in the middle school, working to support individual students who need a little extra support in classes
We are working to train and provide tutors for St.Ann's after-school HW club on Mondays & Wednesdays (they need middle school help in math and reading!)
We have been invited to Sandhill Elementary for a Bedtime Story reading event on March 20th - see below for details or to volunteer!
Our afterschool Math Is Sweet club continues to grow!
(If any of these opportunities intrigue you, please reach out to me!)
Let's get connected!
Many of our tutors have asked for a way to connect with each other - I've created a Google Sheet to share tutors emails/phone numbers
with our tutor community.
If you would like your name to be removed from the list - please let me know!
Our presence has been requested to support Stoughton students at the following upcoming event - please reach out if you are interested in being involved!

Pajama Read In Day @ Sandhill Elementary!
Sandhill Elementary is hosting a Pajama Read-In Day on the last day before Spring Break! They are looking for community members to come read with students - students will rotate through different reading stations, with volunteers reading different books. It should be a cozy, warm, and sweet opportunity to instill a love of reading :)
See below for a selection of resources that might help you on your journey to help Stoughton kiddos :)
We've got our own resource folder on Google Drive!
There are tons of resources to poke through there - and I am always happy to schedule a time to meet with you virtually to check them out together and talk about ideas!
This is a beautiful 4-minute video of REAL middle school students talking about what makes their lives feel hard at school - and what makes them feel good.
It's a sweet eye into the vulnerability of this age (which you don't always see in person :)
Please reach out and schedule a time to meet with me for questions, support, ideas, or just to have me pump you up because you are a hero who is helping Stoughton kids.
