MESSAGE FROM OUR SENIOR WARDEN
I hope that you are using this time during ADVENT to learn more about WAITING. We had a very lively discussion on last Sunday during Adult Formation. The Venerable Jennifer McKenzie led us through a thought provoking discussion about WAITING. Please join us on Sunday for Adult Formation between services at 9:15AM in the Parish Hall (Heritage Hall), so that you can continue to learn more about WAITING.
Immediately after the 10:30AM service on Sunday, December 7, 2025, the children will decorate gingerbread houses and cookies in the Parish Hall on the lower level. Don’t miss out on the fun. The children will get to display their creativity!
Sometimes holidays can be a lonely time especially for those who have lost loved ones. Reach out to parishioners and share a warm thought. Send a card, write a note, or make a call. Feelings of loneliness during the holidays are common. Let your light shine!!!!!
Continue to pray without ceasing as we navigate through the transition process.
Adriane Hope Sayles
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, acknowledging that you are the source of all
wisdom. In this time of discernment for our parish, we ask for clarity
to see your will, wisdom to make sound choices, and the help of your
Holy Spirit to guide our steps. Walk with us, good and loving God. Grant
us in all our doubts and uncertainties, the grace to ask what you would
have us do, that the Spirit of Wisdom may save us from false choices, and
that in your light we may see light, and in your straight path we may not
stumble, through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN

Help Wanted!
Volunteers Are Needed to fill the ECW Bake and Candy Shoppes with delicious holiday goodies at the Christmas Market.
Mark Your Calendar Now, get your baking equipment together, and
Get your BAKING GROOVE going!
As most of you know, the ECW is planning another great Bake Sale at this year’s Christmas Market. This year, we are planning for two tables of baked goodies, including cookies, cakes, pies, bread, and more. And...we are adding a table with homemade candy, candied apples, and s’more kits for kids to use (under supervision) at our fire pit.
For those who enjoy baking and would like an afternoon of fun and fellowship, join us for a cookie-baking afternoon in the All Saints Parish Hall Kitchen on Sunday, December 7th, after the late service. Bring pre-made cookie dough for your favorite cookies to bake in the big oven, or bring fully baked cookies. We will package and price the cookies together. All are welcome to join us!
If you would prefer, you can do all your baking at home (as we have in the past) and bring your goodies to the Parish Hall kitchen on 12/12 or Saturday morning before 9 a.m. Our vendors and volunteers line up at the Bake Tables after setting up to buy goodies for fortification throughout the day.
All Saints Christmas Market 2025 is only 9 days away. It will be here before we know it!

CALLING ALL BAKERS!
The ECW bake sale is always a super successful part of the Christmas Market. Everyone knows that All Saints’ folks are great bakers. Think about every parish gathering - all those scrumptious desserts! So many choices that it’s always tricky to choose.
We are looking for ALL the bakers in the All Saints community to bring delicious goodies for us to sell at the 20th Annual Christmas Market. Our goal, as always, is to SELL OUT!
Bakers: Please bring items on Friday, Dec 13th, or between 8:00 and 9 a.m. on CHRISTMAS MARKET MORNING.
Let buyers know what is inside - a simple title or short description would be helpful. Please price and put in clear baggies/containers, so people can see how wonderful the item looks. There will be stickers available for pricing on Saturday morning.
You may pick up unsold items when the event closes on Saturday at 4, or when Sunday sales end at 10:15.
PS - Rumor has it that “church crack” will be available. Come early if you want to buy some, because it usually sells out fast.

Christmas Baskets
As we begin to think of Christmas Day and a feast with family and friends, our thoughts turn to Turkey or ham dinners, our many Blessings -- and to those less fortunate. We can share our blessings by providing families with Christmas Dinners they would otherwise not enjoy. Please consider joining other All Saints parishioners in our CHRISTMAS BASKET ministry. The cost for each basket again this year is $50.00. You can write a check with a notation in the memo section and put it in the offering plate, or use Easy Tithe and select “Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets”. We will be collecting gifts for these Holiday baskets through December 24th. Thank you for sharing your blessings!
| The Men's Breakfast is always the first Saturday of every month at 9:00 am at Traders Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach. Jim Thrift, our convener, will be in attendance setting up the room before 9:00. The breakfasts are for all Christian men for fellowship and fun. We discuss most everything except religion. Plan to attend and bring a friend as all are welcome, especially newcomers. If you attend you'll have fun, if you don't, we'll talk about you. | |
TOMORROW!!!
All Saints Fall Campus Clean-up, Fun and Fellowship on December 6th
Come out on December 6th, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., alone or with your family, to help clean up the All Saints Church Campus ahead of our December 13th Christmas Market and our annual Wreaths Across America presentation to honor the veterans in our cemetery.
This is the perfect time to have fun with the family, as we serve, so we can showcase a clean Campus for the community to see at these events.
All you need to bring is your gloves, rakes, tarps, blowers, and above all, yourself to make this another successful clean-up day. Come for a few hours or stick around for a complimentary light lunch thanks to the Episcopal Church Women. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Sign-up here >>> LINK. >>> or HERE
If you would like more information, please contact Glenn Iona or David Lippe.

Our annual Wreaths Across America ceremony will be held at noon on Saturday, December 13th. This is a very moving ceremony, and we hope that members of our parish who are not already volunteering with the Christmas Market at this hour will come out and participate!
Anyone wishing to have a private moment to lay the wreath on the grave of their own family member in our cemetery should report to the event organizers by
11:30 a.m. to lay the wreath before the ceremony begins. A moment of silence will be held across the campus, including the All Saints Christmas Market, to honor all veterans buried at All Saints. All other wreaths will be laid following the ceremony by event guests and volunteers.
FYI - Since the Christmas Market is the same day, you should come a little early to snag a parking space.

December 13th is right around the corner!
The holiday season is almost here! With just nine days to go, are you ready to shop 'til you drop at the 2025 All Saints Christmas Market? This fun-filled event is happening on December 13th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) can't wait to see you there.
To make this event a success, we’re calling on volunteers to lend a hand. You can sign up to help through SignUp.com (information below), and every filled volunteer slot counts! Whether you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit, do some shopping, or simply enjoy the festivities, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
| The “Silent Night” Auction will be held upstairs in the Parish Hall. If you are donating items, please place them upstairs in the Sunday School Room by Sunday, so we have time to set them up. | Christmas Market Live Music and Campus Caroling! | |
Christmas Market 50/50 tickets are here!
Get them early and when you can! Tickets are $1, six for $5, 12 for $10, 24 for $20. We need volunteers to help us with ticket presales. The more tickets we sell early, the greater our chance of selling all the tickets before the winning ticket is drawn! Drawing will be at the Christmas Market on December 13th at 3:30 p.m. You don’t need to present to win. If you would like to presell tickets for the ECW or purchase yours early, please get in touch with Katlin Bagdovitz at 410-474-5508 or Katlinebagz@gmail.com.
Don’t forget - YOU’VE GOT TO PLAY TO WIN!

Healing Services at All Saints
What is a healing service? The Church of England’s Diocese of Worcester website approaches it this way: “Healing was central to the ministry of Jesus and through the Holy Spirit, God brings healing to people today … We may receive healing through prayer, through the touch of another’s hands or anointing with oil. Healing may come through hearing the Word of God in scripture or in preaching, or in receiving bread and wine in communion, or through being listened to and valued…”
Each Wednesday, All Saints hosts a 10 a.m. Healing Service for about 30 minutes. We listen to scripture, reflect on the example of saints who have gone before, receive anointing with oil, share communion, and pray fiercely for others and ourselves. We invite you to join us! We mostly meet online, with an in-person service in the sanctuary on the last Wednesday of each month. If this speaks to you or you want to share the name of someone in your life in need of healing, please reach out to Senior Warden Hope Sayles or to your deacons Chip and Lisa.
Please join us for our weekly Healing Service. We begin at 10 a.m.
