Last December I was selected as one of the scholars in the Chautauqua Training Institute sponsored by a grant from Humanities North Dakota. Twelve scholars were chosen to learn from four amazing mentors. I’m developing a presentation as Marion Woodman, the Jungian analyst, workshop leader, and lecturer who popularized the importance of recognizing the Divine Feminine in our culture in order to heal ourselves and our relationship to the Earth.

So many of you beautiful friends, I feel grateful to say, have become a part of me, wearing mostly my bright shadow projections. 😉 When a new friend enters my psyche, it is truly an occasion to celebrate! I love you all!

My latest Dream Art painting tells the story of a dream I had almost two decades ago. The dream is a celebration and, my dream image, an homage to the dreaming tribe I was drawn to become a part of! The late, great Jeremy Taylor often mused that the dreaming community attracts many “spiritually disenfranchised” souls, and that was certainly true in my case. I had left my fundamental religion (The JW’s), and for a while I thought I was agnostic. Yet, my dreams felt very spiritual to me but focusing inward so much caused me to feel even more isolated. There was an emptiness and a longing for spiritual community to share my deep, inner world with. Then, like an answer to an unspoken prayer I found a circle of dreamers right in my back yard, here in Colorado, in 2004. We would meet for weekend retreats hosted by Jeremy Taylor and Billie Ortiz, and regular small dream circles too. It was awesome!
