To register to volunteer use the following link: https://cerv.is/0197x2734
- If volunteers are under the age of 15, Special Olympics requires they bring a parent/chaperone to volunteer with them for the day.
-
Class B Volunteer form – all volunteers must bring this on the day of the competition and turn it in at check-in.
- Please make a note that they may get switched around to a different sports venue on campus if we are running low on volunteers on this day.

FEATURE TEACHER
Third grader Elise Gonzales nominated Mrs. Roehl for The Week Junior's "Teacher of the Week" column and got to see her quote published in the current (February 16th) issue! Elise boasted:
"Mrs. Roehl is kind, loving, funny, and so much more. When students have a math question, she helps them by making rhymes! Each student also gets a day to eat lunch with her to talk about what they think of third grade. I am always filled with joy when she does her happy dance, and when she laughs! Her positive attitude is such a treat. She is always telling us to never give up. I am so lucky to be her student!"

HT PLANTS THE MOON
Holy Trinity students are taking their gardening skills out of this world during the Spring 2024 Plant the Moon Challenge – an international citizen science experiment designed to answer the question: can we grow food sustainably in space?
Plant the Moon participants are tasked to complete their own scientific investigations by setting their experimental parameters, planting seeds of their choice in lunar regolith, and recording their results over a 10-week growth period. At the conclusion of the challenge, a panel of scientists from organizations including NASA and several universities evaluate the projects to determine Best in Show winners.
Our participation was made possible by support from the Florida Space Grant Consortium and the NASA Space Grant Expansion Program.
