College Football Week 11

Alabama at LSU

The No. 11 Crimson Tide head to Death Valley to take on No. 15 LSU on Saturday night as three-point favorites and the O/U set 59 points for this SEC clash. Right now, Alabama is in the College Football Playoff after this season’s first rankings were released on Tuesday. LSU, on the other hand, is on the outside looking in for the College Football Playoff picture. This will be a big road test for the Crimson Tide, who besides their win in Madison against Wisconsin, have lost both other road contests to Vanderbilt and Tennessee this season. LSU is a perfect 4-0 at Tiger Stadium this season. Jalen Milroe rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns the last time these two rivals met in Tuscaloosa back in 2023. Alabama will need more Milroe magic to keep its College Football Playoff position locked in. LSU has not scored less than 20 points in a game this season. These two rivals played a 32-31 overtime barn burner last time they played in Death Valley. Expect another close contest in a must-win game for these two teams with great offenses.

Virginia at Pittsburgh

No. 18 Pittsburgh looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season on Saturday by welcoming in Virginia for a major ACC bout. The Panthers are 7.5-point home favorites with 57.5 points sitting as the O/U. Despite getting beat up last week against SMU, the Panthers are still a problem to face offensively, averaging over 38 ppg this season. Pittsburgh has racked up 89 points in their last two meetings against Virginia, winning both contests by 10 or more points. Despite the Panthers suffering their first loss at SMU last week, they should rebound this week against Virginia.

Minnesota at Rutgers

Rutgers looks to try and shake off their four-game losing streak, but have a tough test on Saturday as they welcome in Minnesota. The Golden Gophers, who have won four straight, come into this game six-point favorites with the O/U set at 46.5 points. A lot of Minnesota’s success has come from the defensive side of the ball with the Golden Gophers ranking ninth in total defense. That has led to Minnesota hitting the under in three of its last four games. Rutgers is coming off a bye week and should be juiced up to end its four-game skid in front of its hometown crowd. We’re not interested in laying points on the road with a desperate Rutgers team, so going Under 46 points is the safer play.

Louisiana Tech +10 over Jacksonville State

Army at North Texas

There has been no stopping the Black Knights this season and we have been all over their undefeated start to the season since the beginning. This will be a tough road matchup for No. 25 Texas facing North Texas as a 5.5-point road favorite with the O/U standing at 63.5 points. The Mean Green are no slouches on offense and are averaging over 43 ppg in their last five contests. Army scored 49 points in its last road matchup against Tulsa and has put up over 40 points in four of its last five matchups. The Black Knights’ No. 1 rushing offense can also take advantage of a North Texas defense that is giving up close to 180 rushing yards ppg this season.

Arkansas State +14.5 over UL Lafayette

NFL Week 10

Denver at Kansas City

It is time to start thinking if Kansas City can break the ‘73 Dolphins' undefeated record. Kansas City looks to stay perfect when they host NFC West rival Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Chiefs enter this one as a 7.5-point home favorite with the O/U set at 42 points. While the defending champs are perfect on paper, they enter this one losing their last two games ATS. Denver pulled off a stunner last season at Mile High with its 24-9 win over the champs. The Broncos may boast a reliable defense, but last week gave up season-highs in passing yards and total yards against Baltimore. We bet against the Chiefs on Monday night, taking Tampa at +8.5, and cashed out another ticket. Denver got blown out last week by Baltimore, 41-10, but has hit the over in five straight games. This contest could be similar to Monday night’s game, so we’re leaning towards the visiting dog.

NY Jets at Arizona

Are the Jets turning things around? They’ll have another must-win on the road Sunday in Glendale as they try to beat an Arizona team that has won three in a row. The Cardinals are a 1.5-point home underdog with the O/U set at 46 points. It might be too fast to get on the season turnaround bandwagon for the Jets until they can go on the road and beat a good team. However, is it time to get on the Arizona bandwagon? Call or Text us at 201-906-3853 to find out.

Detroit at Houston

The banged-up Texans return home to host the red-hot Lions as 3.5-point underdogs with the O/U mark slated for 49 points. Detroit has been a betting cash cow in all facets this season. When the Lions win, they cover, going 7-1 ATS this season. The O/U results when the Lions win also usually find themselves on the Over side of the equation. Playing at NRG Stadium has been a godsend for the Texans, who are 4-0 at home this season. However, with all the injuries, it’s gonna be a tough task for CJ Stroud and the Texans to keep up with a loaded-up Detroit team that is right behind the Chiefs to appear on Bourbon Street in Super Bowl LIX.

Miami at LA Rams

Two teams on different trajectories meet on the Monday Night stage with the Rams welcoming the Dolphins to SoFi Stadium. LA is a 1.5-point home favorite despite winning three in a row and the O/U for this matchup stands at 49.5 points. With Tua Tagovailoa back under center, Miami has scored 58 points, but is 0-2 in those games. We hit with the Rams last week in Seattle and despite a 4-4 record, LA has a legit shot at winning a so far mediocre NFC West. Call or Text us at 201-906-3853 for Monday night’s Winner!

Men's College Basketball Opening Day

Auburn vs Houston

No. 11 Auburn travels to the Toyota Center in Houston to take on the fourth ranked Cougars. The Tigers racked off 94 points in their season opener against UVM, but the Houston defense is a different animal. The Cougars are solid defensively and have the ability to slow down Auburn’s explosive offense, especially with JoJo Tugler defending the perimeter.

Memphis at UNLV

Memphis squeaked out an 83-75 season opening win against Missouri on Monday. Playing on the road against UNLV will be a tough task for the Tigers. The Rebels went 12-5 at home last season and are 5-0-1 ATS in its last six games at the Thomas & Mack Center dating back to last season. We lean with the Rebels’ recent success at home for Saturday’s matchup against Memphis.

Michigan at Wake Forest

Michigan heads to Wake Forest on Sunday to take on the Demon Deacons in an intriguing early-season matchup. Michigan was able to put up 104 points against Cleveland State on Monday night to start the season thanks to transfers Tre Donaldson and Ronny Gayle Jr. Wake Forest is 2-0 to start the season and got its offense going in its last game against North Carolina A&T. Grab any points you can in this matchup.

Michigan St. vs Kansas

One of the biggest early-season games in College Basketball takes place on Tuesday in Atlanta at State Farm Arena between Michigan State and No. 1 Kansas. These two college basketball powerhouses have spilt their last eight meetings against each other. We expect Tom Izzo to have his Spartans fired up to face the top-ranked Jayhawks on a big stage. It’s worth taking a shot with Michigan State getting points at a neutral site.

Genius' Soccer Games of the Week

Premier League

Liverpool (-215) vs. Aston Villa (+500), (draw +400), Saturday, 10 a.m. EDT

Liverpool is on top of the table right now and has been nearly unbeatable over the first three months of the 2024-25 season. Villa comes in off a drubbing last weekend against Tottenham, and then one of the worst losses you will ever see in midweek in the UEFA Champions League (if you have not seen the penalty incident, please go watch it and hope you don't split your pants laughing). Right now, there looks like no other way to go here than a big win for Liverpool. Take them on the -1 Asian Handicap at -145 and also Mo Salah to score at -105.

MLS Playoffs

Inter Miami (-250) vs. Atlanta (+550), (draw +380), Saturday, 8 p.m. EDT

There is NO WAY that Inter Miami is going to lose in the first round of the playoffs: that would be like having Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs lose in the Wild Card round. But is this going to be a tight game? Both of the other two in this best-of-3 have been. Lionel Messi did not come over here to lose early. You can get him at +285 to score 2+ goals, and +1000 to score 3+. I will take a chance on Miami to win by at least two goals on the -1.5 line (+110), and Messi to score 2+ goals.

NHL

New York Rangers at Detroit Red Wings

The Rangers have been inconsistent since their 5-1 start to the season. A boost for the Blueshirts could be playing the Red Wings again on Saturday night. New York has already beaten Detroit twice this season and have won five straight against the Red Wings dating back to last season. We're not interesting in laying heavy wood on the road, but the Over is one to take a look at in this one. New York has scored nine goals in two games so far against the Red Wings and have not scored under three goals on the road yet this season.

NBA

New York Knicks at Indiana Pacers

The Knicks and Pacers meet for the second time this season on Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The first matchup between the two Eastern Conference contenders did go under the total in a Knicks win. The Pacers have been scoring at will since that loss at MSG and will look to use their home court advantage, like they did in the playoffs, to get revenge against New York. Expect a high-scoring affair on Sunday between these two rivals.
