This year, you have the chance to elect two strong, qualified jurists to the Michigan Supreme Court: Justice Kyra Harris Bolden and Kimberly Ann Thomas. Both Bolden and Thomas are deeply committed to fairness for all Michiganders, and we trust them to protect our rights and expand justice for the most vulnerable in society. 

For decades, wealthy corporations and powerful special interests were able to use their influence on our courts to successfully attack people’s rights in every area of the law. Thanks to recent elections and appointments by Governor Whitmer, the Michigan Supreme Court is finally a fair and impartial court for everyone. 

A vote for Bolden and Thomas is a vote to preserve equal justice under the law.

State court rulings affect the quality of our schools; the safety of our neighborhoods; fair and constitutional policing; access to health care; voting rights; protections for workers and consumers; and the quality of the air we breathe and water we drink.
