State of the Chamber and Community Breakfast

at Lake Windsor Country Club

Please join us for annual Chamber Breakfast on Tuesday, May 11th, from 8-10AM at Lake Windsor Country Club. We will introduce our 2021 Board of Directors, recap the affects of 2020 on the Chamber and our local businesses, and provide opportunities to become more involved in our Chamber business community and events planned for 2021.
Superintendent, Eric Runez, will give updates on the DeForest Area School District referendum/construction projects and highlights from the School District's Annual Report.
In addition, there will be presentations from the Village of Windsor President, Bob Wipperfurth and the Village of DeForest President, Jane Cahill-Wolfgram, on the highlights of 2020, and a glimpse into plans for 2021 and how those will impact our communities, businesses and organizations.

Public Health Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) issued Emergency Order #16, which significantly increases limits on indoor and outdoor gatherings and raises the indoor capacity for restaurants, taverns and other businesses. The new order goes into effect Wednesday, May 5, at 12:01AM

The DeForest Hometown Pharmacy is planning to set up a community vaccination clinic and was wondering if you or any of your employees would be interested in getting the Pfizer two-dose vaccination. The clinic would be held at the DeForest Area Community & Senior Center, mid-May.
Pharmacy Manager, Birpaul Bhander, is asking for an approximate number of people interested, to order the vaccines for the DeForest Pharmacy.

DeForest Area High School National Honor Society (NHS) is partnering with United Way of Dane County (UWDC) to promote volunteerism in our community. NHS members have designed t-shirts for sale in DeForest and Windsor to support this mission. Every shirt sold will provide One Act of Volunteer Service in our community.

2021 FFA Plant sale will have all virtual buying opportunities with an in-person sale Saturday, May 8th from 8:00 AM -1:00 PM
The sale opens virtually on Tuesday, May 4th, and runs until Friday, May 7th @ 11:59 PM
