Employee Awareness Month
National Disability Employment Awareness Month gives advocates a chance to talk about Competitive, Integrated Employment of people with disabilities in Arkansas.

The NDEAM Arkansas 2022 Kickoff Event took place at the Arkansas State Capitol earlier this month.

Get Your COVID-19 Shot Today!
Arkansans 5 and up are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine! Do your part to help flatten the curve today.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highly encourages those with developmental disabilities to get the shot to prevent themselves and the people around them from contracting the virus.

Little Rock's First Inclusive Playground Opens

Exciting news! The Unlimited Playground, a $1 million project in historic MacArthur Park in Little Rock, is officially open.

The playground, built for children of all abilities, is on the east side of the park, just south of the Arkansas Korean War Veterans Memorial.

The Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) consists of 23 members who are appointed by the Governor. Council members representing the principal state agencies are appointed by the Governor without a term expiration date and serve at the pleasure of the Governor.

Adults on Autism Spectrum Support Group Meeting
Don't forget about the Adults on Autism Spectrum Support Group Meeting Saturday, October 22! It's a great opportunity to join other adults on the spectrum to socialize and support each other.

Don't Forget to Vote!

Early voting begins Monday, October 24 for the Arkansas General Election 2022. Vote between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday. Early voting ends at 5 p.m. on the Monday prior to the election.
