STAT Home Health of Shreveport hosts annual toy drive

Each year, Executive Director Britney Price, along with her team and family, host a toy drive for Christmas. This year, they also participated in the CASA Christmas. The local community was able to collect enough toys to give over 300 kids a Christmas! STAT Home Health was able to contribute and help set up the event.

Shoutout to Britney and her team for helping families have a Christmas this year!

STAT Shreveport provides Thanksgiving meals to patients

Each year, STAT Home Health in Shreveport, Louisiana, hosts a food drive to be able to provide its patients with a Thanksgiving meal. Not everyone is able to have a Thanksgiving for various reasons, so we are thankful for Britney, her team and her family for taking the time to give back to the community this holiday season.

Family member leaves heartwarming review of Sage Specialty in Denham Springs, LA

"I just wanted to thank you for all the great work you and your staff are providing as you care for my mom. A few weeks ago, we were not sure if my mom would be here with us. It has been a great blessing that she is still here and able to enjoy her family. More importantly, we are here to enjoy her. I just wanted to share with you the smiling faces of my mom and her siblings who were able to visit with her yesterday. We call them the St. Amant Five.

These five months of managing my mom through all her ailments have been difficult mentally and emotionally. One of the biggest issues I have encountered is having people dismiss me when I have questions or information to share, so I try extra hard now to be heard and to advocate for her best interest. It was so great to see her happy with family yesterday, and I was excited to see her exercising with OT yesterday. She wants to walk again so badly, and she misses her exercises. Before these ailments got the best of her, my mom was the Chair Aerobics Queen at the Council on Aging. So, I look forward to her continuing to work with PT/OT at Sage. Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you." -Anna Jackson

Q3 2024 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHTS

SONIA GUZMAN | HR Onboarding Coordinator

"We want to take a moment to recognize Sonia for her exceptional contributions to our team and workplace culture. She consistently brings a joyful attitude to the office, brightening our days with her humor and positive energy. Her willingness to help colleagues, regardless of the issue or time, fosters a supportive environment for everyone.

Sonia truly embodies the TCHN mission statement. By prioritizing our employees, she ensures that they can, in turn, provide outstanding care to our patients. Her dedication to supporting our location helps align our efforts with the company's goals.

She has demonstrated remarkable accountability and initiative in her work. She effectively manages the FMLA and Worker's Compensation processes - training locations on best practices to ensure the well-being of our employees.

One standout example of Sonia's commitment is her response during a recent natural disaster. She willingly took on extra responsibilities to ensure our employees were cared for and that our facilities could continue to provide essential services. Thank you, Sonia, for your hard work and dedication. You are an invaluable part of our team!"

-REBEKAH PACHECO | Human Resources Director

AMANDA McGHEE, LPN | STAT Home Health

"Amanda is an LPN who joined our team in 2021. She is always professional, kind, compassionate and reliable. Whenever I have asked her for help, she is always on board. Her patients love her and request her by name if they come back on services. She is the definition of a team player - always mentoring and coaching others. Amanda is a true star on this team. We, and our patients, are blessed to have her!

-LEAH ANDERSON | Executive Director, STAT Little Rock

DAWN HEBERT, RHIA | LTCH/IRF Hospital Coder

"Dawn joined The Carpenter Health Network's Restorative Division in May 2023 with many years of LTCH and IRF-focused inpatient coding expertise. Both her expertise and experience have played a crucial role in minimizing claim denials through coding accuracy & compliance and overall enhancement to the revenue cycle of our Long-Term Acute Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals.

Dawn works closely with our hospital's Intake Team, Clinical Liaisons, Case Managers, Administrators and medical staff. She is truly dedicated to leaving no stone unturned. She loves the thrill of "digging in the medical records" to ensure the hospital's acuity is reflected in their overall case mix index. Dawn has been instrumental in decreasing overall provider query volume related to unspecified or ambiguous, provider-related documentation by providing focused ICD-10 clinical documentation improvement education to the medical staff.

She is always willing to go above and beyond whenever asked and consistently demonstrates there is no "I" in TEAM. Thank you, Dawn! We truly appreciate all that you do!"

-BRANDI MAYEAUX, RHIT | Director of Revenue Cycle & HIM

MISSY SIMON | Billing / Collections Dept.

"Missy is the magician behind the scenes to keep us compliant and operational. Managing payor portals for the entire Network, credit balance reports, cost report data and assisting with collections are just a handful of items she manages daily. Her role is absolutely critical to our success, and she makes it look easy. Thanks for all you do, Missy!"

-PATRICK RAMBIN | Chief Operating Officer

"Missy is a go-to for everything Waystar and ensures compliance for our Network. Thank you, Missy, for keeping us operationally compliant and always having a positive attitude!"

-BOBBY VARNAU | Controller
