West Virginia at TCU

The Mountaineers head into Fort Worth on Saturday as 10.5-point dogs against TCU, with the O/U marked at 57.5 points for this Big 12 clash. Why are the Horned Frogs double-digit favorites? They only have one win against a Power 4 school this season, which came last week against Baylor on the road. West Virginia snapped its three-game skid last week with a 45-42 win against Cincinnati. Michael Hawkins Jr. led the way from under center for the Mountaineers with five total touchdowns and over 500 yards of total offense. West Virginia comes in ranked No. 8 in the country in total offense and has put up 31 or more points in every one of its seven games so far this season. Not to mention, West Virginia has won the last three times they’ve played TCU at Amon G. Carter Stadium. TCU does have a Top 10 defense, but you have to think the Mountaineers will be able to put some points on the board. Take the double-digit points with the road dog.

San Diego State at Colorado State

After dealing with a mumps outbreak and three straight losses, San Diego State looks to have turned things around by winning two of its last three games. That includes a win over Fresno State last weekend, with backup quarterback Stone Saunders having to step into action. The Aztecs are 1.5-point road dogs on Saturday against Colorado State, with the O/U set at 62.5 points. Saunders is slated to start again for the Aztecs on Saturday and should be up to San Diego State to score against an atrocious Colorado State defense ranked dead last in yards allowed this season. Colorado State has also lost four in a row, and the Aztecs are 7-3 straight up against the Rams since 2009. Lean toward the visitors. They can at least play a little defense.

Ole Miss at Texas

Are Arch Manning’s days in Austin numbered? After two straight poor performances that have shrank the Longhorns to No. 19 in the Top 25, Manning is not just playing to keep Texas’ College Football Playoff hopes alive, but also to keep his starting spot. Texas is a 3.5-point home favorite against No. 7 Ole Miss on Saturday, with the O/U listed at 53.5 points. Trinidad Chambliss and Ole Miss look to have steadied the ship after losing in Gainesville last month, rolling to double-digit wins against both Vanderbilt and Missouri. The Longhorns are overrated, and Chambliss is a better quarterback right now than Manning. Take the 3.5 points with Chambliss and the Rebels.

North Dakota State at New Mexico

The 5-1 Lobos host North Dakota State on Saturday as 4.5-point favorites in this crucial Mountain West clash, and the total is settling at 40.5 points. After combining for 16 touchdowns on offense against New Mexico State and UTEP, New Mexico was sluggish last week in its 21-10 win over Hawaii. We think the Lobos’ prolific offense can get back on track at home against a North Dakota State team that has struggled at times on the road this season. New Mexico is averaging over 56 ppg at home this season. Play Over the total.

Miami at NY Jets

The winless Dolphins come to MetLife Stadium on Sunday as 4.5-point underdogs against the Jets, and the total for this AFC East clash is set at 39.5 points. Besides scoring 24 points two weeks ago against the Bengals, the Dolphins’ offense have only been able to average a touchdown a game in their other four contests. The Jets’ defense has been superb at home this season, allowing only three touchdowns in their two home games against the Browns and Packers. Can’t see Malik Willis and Dolphins getting much going against the Jets’ ninth ranked defense. Don’t see Geno Smith and an inconsistent Jets offense scoring a lot of points as well. Play under the total.

NY Giants at Houston

It’s JJ McCarthy time for the Giants in Houston against a Texans team that has won two in a row. Houston is a heavy 10.5-point home favorite against the G-Men, with the O/U marked at 43.5 points. C.J. Stroud has looked great over the last three weeks for the Texans, tallying seven total touchdowns and over 900 yards passing in that span. On defense, Will Anderson leads the NFL in sacks. Houston is starting to look like the team most thought it would be during the preseason. However, it’s tough to back them by double-digits after playing overseas last week. John Harbaugh’s Giants will find a way to keep it close. Take the double-digit points with the G-Men.

LA Rams at Las Vegas

The preseason Super Bowl favorite has all of sudden dropped two in a row and is now 2-4 on the season. The Rams head into Vegas on Sunday as 3.5-point road favorites against the Raiders, with the O/U set at 48.5 points. With the Rams on the ropes, you have to think Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford will be focused on a big day against a Raiders’ defense that has allowed 30 or more points the last three weeks. Kirk Cousins and the Raiders should also have their way against a Rams’ defense that has been inconsistent all season and that is still dealing with injuries. Play Over the total.

Kansas City at Seattle

Are we looking at a Super Bowl LXI preview? The undefeated Chiefs head to Seattle on Sunday night as 2.5-point underdogs against the defending champs, with the O/U set for 42.5 points. Seattle and Sam Darnold are looking to bounce back from last week’s disaster in Mile High, while the Chiefs are looking to go 6-0 for the second time in three years. Both teams have great defenses. The Chiefs went under the total in four of their five games last year against NFC opponents. Lean under the total for now, but be sure to check us out on Instagram before Sunday night for a bigger play on a winner.
