Elevator Service Notice

The sanctuary elevators (all 3 floors) will be out of service for scheduled maintenance starting August 31. During this time, they will not be usable, and we appreciate your patience as our team works to keep them running safely for years to come.

If you or someone you know has a golf cart that could be used to help transport congregation members and visitors from the parking lot to the front door of the sanctuary during this period, please let the church office know. Your help would be a wonderful blessing to those who need it most.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

"Really Bad Girls of the Bible"

Wednesdays Starting September 9 - November 4

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM in Poe Williams

Eight of the Bible’s most notorious females strut across the pages of Really Bad Girls of the Bible with troubles that still hit home in the twenty-first century.

The Medium of En Dor crossed over to the dark side. Jael stood up to a ruthless enemy. The Adulteress was caught between a rock and a hard place. Athaliah made a bid for power that ended badly. Bathsheba captured the wandering eye of a king. Herodias made a cruel request of her husband. Tamar exchanged her widow’s weeds for a harlot’s garb. And the Bleeding Woman had a serious health issue only a great physician could handle.

Say It With Flowers

You have an opportunity to honor, recognize, or memorialize someone with flowers in our services. For a suggested donation of $40, an arrangement will be on the altar of both services, which you can take home afterwards. A dedication for that Sunday will be listed. This is a great opportunity to share the beauty of friendships, love, and thankfulness.

Limited Sundays are available, please contact lile.rogers23@gmail.com, or Suzanne Newman in the church office to see if your special date is available

Every week, we come together to celebrate the ways in which God is moving in our lives and community through “God Sightings.” These are stories of faith, answered prayers, acts of kindness, and moments where we witness God’s love at work.

Celebrating Bible Sunday

Last Sunday, we celebrated Bible Sunday and the gift of God’s Word! Our PreK, 2nd grade, and 6th grade students received Bibles during worship, marking an important step in their faith journeys. We’re grateful for the opportunity to place Scripture in the hands of the next generation.
