For those of you that sold an item in the 4-H Premium Auction at the Stafford & Edwards County Fair, please be sure to send a thank you note to your buyer and maybe even a plate of cookies, cake or bread. A Thank you can go a LONG way!  

Kansas State Fair Info

We have deadlines approaching fast for the Kansas State Fair. 4-H’ers 9 and over may exhibit at the Kansas State Fair. If you receive a purple ribbon at the Stafford or Edwards County Fair, your exhibit (other than livestock or visual arts and style revue – we will contact you in these areas) is eligible to exhibit at the Kansas State Fair PLEASE notify the Extension Office which items you would like to send to the KSF by Monday, August 9th. If you have questions, please contact the Extension Office for more information 

Kansas Wheat Expo

Join us for the 2024 Kansas 4-H Wheat Expo on Monday, August 12th

at Pottorf Hall in Manhattan, KS. 

The wheat expo will be a fun, educational and hands-on program for all Kansas 4-H members, siblings, parents, grandparents, and KSRE Extension staff. You do not have to be enrolled in crops/plant science projects to participate. 4-H members enrolled in Food and Nutrition, Photography and Field Crops are encouraged to participate. 

The Kansas 4-H State Wheat Expo is a wheat fun day showcasing all things wheat. Lunch and refreshments are sponsored, and tours will be available.

KANSAS YOUTH LEADERSHIP FORUM

Build your leadership skills and potential through workshops, consulting groups,

inspirational speakers and more. In addition, the 2025 State 4-H Youth Leadership Council will be elected and up to six National 4-H Conference delegates will be selected through an interview process at KYLF.
