2023-2024 CEO Leadership Institute (CEOI) Registration Deadline: October 16th!
October 22-23, 2023 | Paris Las Vegas | Las Vegas, NV (ahead of FOM/IT)
CEOI is a six-month training program for CEOs of health centers to learn with and from peers, and hone health center-specific leadership skills. It is best suited for CEOs in the role for three years or less. The program kicks off with a two-day workshop on October 22-23, 2023 ahead of NACHC’s FOM/IT Conference and Expo in Las Vegas.

Intensive Data Lab: Data to Drive Improvement in Hypertension
Wednesday, November 15, 2023 | 1:00 - 3:00 PM | Omni Louisville Hotel, Louisville, KY
Develop community health center patient personas (i.e., patient-like characters) using a patient-level dataset. Participants will apply their findings to various quality measures and health outcomes and explore interventions to tackle the biggest disparities in hypertension. This interactive learning lab is designed for quality improvement, data-driven professionals, and clinical staff with data duties.

BLOG | Health Centers Race Against the Clock to Keep Patients Connected to Medicaid Coverage in Arkansas
At a time when most states are reviewing the eligibility of their Medicaid beneficiaries over the course of one year, Arkansas decided to review all beneficiaries in only six months. This process is known as Medicaid renewals and it could cause people to lose coverage, even if they are eligible. In Arkansas, a large number of people are losing their Medicaid coverage rapidly — sometimes before they are aware of it.

BLOG | Eight Health Centers Incubate Solutions to Digital & Health Literacy
NACHC has teamed up with the global healthcare company, Abbott, to help remove barriers to healthcare access and equity. In May, our Center for Community Health Innovation selected eight health centers to participate in this novel incubator program where health centers receive funding, access to leading experts, and training over a six-month period to help design and test new solutions addressing digital literacy challenges in their own communities.

Preparing Tomorrow's Leaders in Health: Become a Commonwealth Fund Fellow
One-year, degree-granting, full-time fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Boston, beginning July 2024 – the Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Minority Health Policy at Harvard University (CFF) prepares physician-leaders, particularly physicians from groups underrepresented in medicine, to improve the health of historically marginalized populations. Fellows focus on transforming healthcare delivery systems and promoting innovation in policies, practices and programs that address health equity and social determinants of health.
The application for the 2024-2025 Fellowship is due December 1, 2023.
