World Chromosome 18 Day 2022 Recap

Thank you to everyone that joined us on December 4th, 2022 for the first annual World Chromosome 18 Day! This FREE event had 100+ attendees from across the world come together to learn, share, and connect.
The day included:
- Exclusive insight and Q&A sessions with two of the world's leading experts on the chromosome 18 conditions
- Intro to genetics and Q&A with Dena DNA, genetic counselor and social media sensation
- Research update and open Q&A with Dr. Cody - ask her anything!
- Syndrome sessions with Q&A
- One awesome holiday dance party!

The University Roundtable of San Antonio presented Their Best & Brightest Annual Award to Dr Cody at their holiday party at the very lavish Argyle Club on the evening of Thursday the 15th of December. This award is voted on by members from the best of the years speakers at monthly events and Dr. Cody was very grateful to receive this prestigious honor.

San Antonio Area Families: The Emergency Need Fund is still available!
|
|
|
Chromosome 18 received a special grant from the Najim Charitable Foundation to assist low-income families acquire medical equipment and necessary items for their chromosome 18 affected child.
This fund is the first time ever we've been able to offer a program like this. Funding will cover the cost of medical items (up to $2,000 per family) for chromosome 18 families in the San Antonio area.
