Pottsboro Area Chamber of Commerce Newsletter November 2025

Dear Pottsboro Businesses,

As we move into the holiday season, your Pottsboro Chamber Board is filled with gratitude — and excitement for what’s ahead. This November, our Board will gather for our annual Strategy Session to reflect on what worked in 2025, address what didn’t, and set fresh goals for 2026.

We’re thrilled to welcome Traci Cherry as our incoming President and are also (always) seeking members who would love to serve on the Board. If that’s you, please reach out, we’d love to hear from you.

While it’s common for a Chamber of our size to focus heavily on events, our leadership is also leaning intentionally into economic development — what it means for our town, our businesses, and the greater Pottsboro area. We want to align our work with the vision laid out by the city’s community surveys and highlight the opportunities that exist here for businesses of every size.

To do that well, we need your voice. Tell us what you need, what you hope to see, and how we can help. Your feedback drives our focus.

As we continue building partnership with the City of Pottsboro, our goal is to collaborate, not compete — to work side-by-side toward meaningful growth, better resources, and a thriving local economy.

And while strategy is vital, so is connection. Our Business Builders Luncheons have been a highlight this year, and our final luncheon for 2025 is just around the corner —  Napoli’s Italian Restaurant. Come enjoy a great meal, meet fellow business owners and leaders, and celebrate a year well spent.

We’ve also had valuable Community Chats with elected and appointed leaders, creating real dialogue around the issues that matter most to our area. We’re proud of the progress and eager for more.

As the year closes, take time to rest, reflect, and prepare for all that 2026 will bring. Your Chamber is here to support your business, amplify your voice and build together.

If you have thoughts, comments, or ideas for how we can serve better, please reach out to Missy or any member of your Chamber Board. We’re here for you and proud to call Pottsboro home.

Warmly,

Nathan Knottingham

There is a NEW NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY for our business members scheduled for November 11th at 11:30am. This event is called the Chamber Business Builders and is a working lunch meeting. We will provide all attendees time to speak to the group where each can explain details about their business, share who their targeted clientele is, and ask for specific referrals from the group. At each meeting we will have one presenting speaker who will have approximately 10 minutes to discuss their business and business needs in detail. Our presenting speaker this time is Ronnie Rivas with Amazing Water Filtration - He will be giving away a water filtration system so you don't want to miss this one. We will be holding the Business Builder events every other month starting in January and it will be held on the 2nd Tuesday, so mark your calendars now!
