Christmas in July: Donate $70 for 70 Years of Impact

Today is the last day of Christmas in July, but we're taking donations all year long! This year, as you may know, we made 70 years of impact in this community. That's 70 years of continued work, care, and collaboration. If you're feeling generous, please donate here!

Simmesport Flood Recovery Efforts

On June 22, our President and CEO, Lafe Jones (pictured in orange in left photo), was on site in Simmesport helping to coordinate distribution of $80,000 worth of cleaning supplies, food, water, brooms, mops, and other items to assist local residents impacted by devastating floods due to Tropical Storm Arthur.

We want to thank the Churches of Christ Disaster Ministries and Pineville Church of Christ for partnering with United Way of Central Louisiana to make this happen. Communities don't thrive on isolation - they thrive when people come together and unite for a common good.
