Our Project Truth College Tour was filled with adventure on our visits to Oregon State, the University of Oregon, Fresno City College and Fresno State.

I slept through a Northern Lights-lit sky one night in Oregon. I'm still bummed.

Another night we heard gunshots, which isn't unusual where I live in California, but a mountain lion made the mistake of attacking someone near where we were staying in the foothills of Oregon. He is now a trophy.

Excitement on and off the campuses.

On the campus at Fresno City College, this strangely dressed student threatened me and tried to destroy our signs. I wasn't sure if I should laugh at his demeanor, but he had an air of demonism

as he tried to interfere with our outreach. My team called the police and a few students called the "red guy" out, telling him to leave us alone.

The police were professional and kept the peace. The day was a success.

While we were having great conversations, a group of students approached our team and began marching around us. They circled us four or five times and then walked away.

But the odd part is that their placards had no writing. That's right, no words were on their signs...just blank torn-up cardboard on sticks.

Even students were asking, "What in the world were they trying to say?"

People have lost their minds.

This student attending an Oregon college stood and listened to our discussions, but joined in with the pro-abortion students.

At one point I asked one of my team members if "she" had asked any questions. My fellow warrior informed me that this person is a "dude." This wouldn't be the only encounter I would have with troubled souls.

A handful of counter-protesters showed up as we were finishing our day at the University of Oregon. They didn't get the memo that meanness towards us is required.

The best part is that the protesters get to hear our views while we talk with other students and the sign-wavers learn a lot.

These two characters were a challenge for me. I know we are to love the unlovely, but it can be problematic when they are right in front of you insisting you accept their views.

Oh, the one in a dress is a biological man, who asked me to use "his preferred" pronouns. I told him politely that I would not play his imaginary game. Surprisingly he said ok and still talked to me...

The man told me he is 41 years old and that "his/her" husband has given birth to two children during their "marriage."

He told me not to "he-me" and said, "Can't you see I am wearing a dress?"

The other student in the photo insisted he IS a doctor now that he is in his fourth year of college to "become" a doctor. He rejects the biological fact that a human being is a human at conception, even though his biology textbook says so.

These are sometimes the challenging conversations we must navigate through to express the light in their darkness.

Believe it or not, they both shook my hand after listening to the truth.

Pastor James Cook enjoyed his witnessing on the Oregon State campus.

His sign intrigued many students who were drawn to him for conversations.

A Hindu student asked James what the difference is between Hindus and Christians? James said that Jesus is the difference. He proved He is "the Way, the Truth and the Life." The Hindu gods offer no proof. This so bothered the student that he told James he would rethink his Hindu religion by what James had told him.

...and once James saw the above photo, he insisted that the light was shining into these students' minds.

We also call it "putting pebbles in their shoes."

James put a large pebble in the shoe of a student who said he was ok with abortion being an individual State's issue.

The warrior for Project Truth then asked him, "Would you have been ok with slavery being a State's issue?"



The look on the guy's face was revealing as he then told James that he would not have been ok with that. "Now I have to reconsider the abortion issue. Thank you for talking to me."

Hannah found several students in the "searching" mode. One student told her that she is seeking the truth and that her father is a strong believer. The young lady wanted to know the truth and thanked Hannah for being on her campus to give out the message.

Tanya challenges young people with logic and reason. Her easy conversation style really works with some.

Tanya has been a great part of our outreach.

Ethan was reliving his memories because this college was the first college where he began his college outreach years ago. University of Oregon has thousands of students, most living for their god of Feelings. Ethan has been a good messenger with our team, but may be leaving us soon to become a fireman.

Ethan has been part of the discipleship program at Galt Bible Church since he was a teen. He developed into a strong warrior for the cause of the Kingdom.

Some students told us that we were changing their minds with the information they had never seen before. Others told us they had never spoken to a pro-life person before.

The most reckless statement came from a number of students who proclaimed that "even if they are human beings, we should be able to kill them."

As we transition into the Gospel, some students reveal disturbing beliefs.

"I was born a Christian and believe we should be able to kill our unborn children."

Our team then walks them through what God's Word says about such foolish ideas. We know that our message was meant to be on that campus that day.

Fresno State had several nursing students roaming around their quad. Who better than our registered nurse, Carole, pointing out the "Do no Harm" to preborn children standard all nurses should embrace. The young man she is directing to the display stayed for a long time to listen to the reality of abortion in our world.

As you can see, our display of injustice for "the least of these" works to get the students to engage with our Project Truth team.

Bernard continues to share the Gospel on campus by asking students, "Do you think you are a good person?"

When they say "yes," he asks them if he can put that to the test? The person almost always says "sure."

Bernard then uses the "Way of the Master" outline by asking them if they have ever violated the Ten Commandments. He goes through each one and the student realizes he or she is not good.

The Law is our schoolmaster to show us we are lost and need Christ. Galatians 3:24

It is a great way to introduce the Gospel to the searching souls.

Local warriors, Jarod and Lee, on the left, join us when they are not at the Fresno abortion centers each week.

Jarod, you might remember, is the man who was shot at years ago outside an abortion center. He is not deterred to proclaim the Gospel and try to rescue people from the echo chambers.

He and Lee visit the college campuses each week. Having 12 more warriors with them on campus was a boost for their resolve to take the light to the darkness.

Carole spoke to a student who said, "No one has ever told me that life begins at conception. I now believe abortion is wrong."

Another young man said, "The real question is what does God think about abortion? That's even more important than what science says."

Many young people seemed open to our message and we handed out over 1,000 brochures at Fresno State.

This protester stood all day for one of the two days we were in the Oregon State quad. Finally, she wanted to engage and Hannah gladly walked her through the truth of abortion.

During the dialogue, this confused woman admitted her mom was going to be aborted and instead was adopted out. I stepped over to her and told her that her testimony was disturbing. "How can you be an abortion advocate knowing you are alive because of the pro-life view? Doesn't that make you a hypocrite?"

She just looked at me and got very quiet.

Project

In Oregon we were joined by the great team from Tiny Heartbeats, an effective abolitionist ministry covering the Northwest area. Together, we were 22 strong on each campus.

Their team wears matching red shirts. We haven't gotten to that point yet.

This is the view from my GoPro when "class is in session." We offer free instruction to those in the echo chambers. We tell them that they are in a government-controlled school that only allows mostly government-directed ideology. Now that's a pebble in their shoes to give them pause to rethink what they are learning.

One disturbing thing we noticed was the demonic activity at the Oregon schools. Some of the students would have a twitch in one eye that would go into their cheeks as we presented Jesus as the answer to their worldview. I'm not one to believe in some of the demonic stories, but our team sees the unusual physical responses in some conversations.

One guy walked by and said, "I want all Christians burned at the stake."

Another student told me after I gave him the Gospel, "I don't care if I go to Hell," as his eyes and cheek twitched in anger. I have that conversation on my GoPro. I plan on putting it on my webpage at some point.

A few Christian students warned us that Satanic activity is prominent on their campus. We noticed.

The command "Go into all the world" produced great results during the Fall Tour of Project Truth.

Addie told me that a student stood off to the side reading our brochure. Addie approached him and asked him what he thought.

He said, "I have read this information and am convinced that abortion is wrong. I have changed my mind."

Addie introduced him to the Gospel and he had several questions. As she walked him through his inquiry, he thanked her for the conversation and said, "Perhaps I will see you in Heaven someday."
