While there are many uncertainties in the world, Tougaloo College continues to fortify its standing as a beacon for top-tier students seeking a holistic collegiate experience. Our students are challenged academically with a rigorous curriculum, exposed to experiential learning experiences, and engaged in meaningful relationships fostering lifelong friendships and professional connections.

We celebrate and share the successes and achievements of our students, not only within the Tougaloo community

Whether participating in research-based projects, serving on boards of national organizations, or volunteering within the community, Tougaloo students continue to rise to the occasion!

Yet, many of our students worry about completing their education because they experience a gap in funding after federal aid has been applied. Donations to the 1869 Annual Fund support scholarships and academic programming, fulfilling our mission of educating students to become leaders, grounded in academic excellence with the drive to fight societal injustices.
