Michigan Refunds

Many Michigan taxpayers are experiencing longer wait times for their state income tax refunds this year. The Michigan Department of Treasury reports that a significantly higher number of taxpayers filed early in the season, creating a larger-than-normal processing workload.

Taxpayers waiting on a Michigan refund can check the status of their return through the Michigan Treasury’s online “Where’s My Refund?” tool. Where's My Refund Keep in mind that this tool is also experiencing delays. You may receive a message that your return has not been filed. We are filing returns within a day or two of receiving a signed 8879 and will always reach out if there are any issues.

Good Luck Kellie

We are expecting! Kelly is due with her first baby later this month and will be taking a bit of a leave. We are wishing her and her husband all the best and can't wait to see pictures of baby Gemma!

Time is running out

Friday is the deadline to receive organizers in order to have a completed return before the April 15th filing deadline. Anything turned in after March 30 will be automatically extended. We are short staffed, so we are working as quickly and efficiently as possible, but unfortunately our processing time is longer than usual. Please try and respond to emails within 48 hours. If you don't have an answer, acknowledge that you have received the request and are working on it.

Thank you for your patience as we work through the next few weeks!
