Mindfulness With Animals

Aiden
Aiden is an adorable 3-year-old Pit Bull mix. She was rescued from a tough situation, but her past life will not define her. Aiden is very sweet and affectionate, although a little shy. She is working very hard on being outgoing and brave. Aiden loves to play fetch, snuggle with her foster family, and loves praise and affection. Aiden would do best in a quiet home with routine. She does well with other dogs and would do well with a calm canine sibling or as being they only dog, she is also good with cats. Chelsea
Chelsea is a stunning 5-year-old Pit Bull mix who cannot wait to meet her forever family. She is a very gentle loving soul and just a joy to be with. Chelsea had a very rough beginning, living on the streets, bullied by the other street dogs and then giving birth on the streets. Now that she is rescued and safe she is coming out of her shell. Chelsea is shy but does warm up quickly, she is also shy around dogs but is curious and willing to make friends with proper introductions. Cindy Lou Meadwood- Cindy Lou is a super cute 5 year old Labrador mix. She is currently being fostered on a farm and is having a blast. Cindy Lou loves playing with other dogs and would do well with a canine sibling in her new home. She does love to chase the cars and chickens on the farm so we feel no small animals in her new home would be best. Reina Paragould- Reina is about 1.5-2 year old Shepherd Labrador mix who is looking for her forever home. Unfortunately, Reina came from a traumatic beginning is very shy, but she is working so hard to try and overcome her shyness. She loves to play with toys and her canine friends. Due to her insecurity, she must be adopted to a home with a friendly confident dog in the home. Reina also needs a fenced yard since she is too nervous for leash walking. - Patriots Training Camp 8/4, 8/5, 8/6, 8/10 - Not only will you be able to watch team practice, but you will also have the chance to enjoy games, activities, photo opportunities and more! There will also be appearances by Pat Patriot, the Patriots Cheerleaders and Patriots Alumni. Do you have what it takes to make the Patriots? Test your skills at the numerous activities and games available throughout camp. Fun for all ages! Autograph sessions are planned to take place after each day of practice. - 8/1-8/3 Newport Jazz Festival - The Newport Jazz Festival is an annual music festival held in the city of Newport, Rhode Island, United States. It was founded more than six decades ago as the First Annual American Jazz Festival. Over the years, it has become one of the most successful jazz festivals in North America. The first Newport Jazz Festival was held in 1954. It was conceived and financed by Socialite Elaine Lorillard and organized by jazz impresario George Wein. The festival featured live musical performances and academic panel discussions. The panels took place at Newport Casino and the performances were set on a lawn in front of the casino. The line-up of the first festival included notable jazz musicians such as Billy Holiday. The event was emceed by jazz pianist, composer and arranger Stan Kenton.

WaterFire’s over eighty sparkling bonfires, the fragrant scent of aromatic wood smoke, the flickering firelight on the arched bridges, the silhouettes of the fire-tenders passing by the flames, the torch-lit vessels traveling down the river, and the enchanting music from around the world engage all the senses and emotions of those who stroll the paths of Waterplace Park. WaterFire has captured the imagination of over ten million visitors, bringing life to downtown, and revitalizing Rhode Island’s capital city.
- 8/10 Chinatown August Moon Festival, Boston - The August Moon Festival is one of the greatest Chinese Festivals, second only to the Chinese New Year. There are several meanings behind the festival. Since the arrival of autumn is thought to be a propitious season and the weather is usually conducive to good health and enjoyment, the August Moon Festival is a festival of joy and health. The August Moon Festival is also known as the Harvest Festival, a time of thanks for the harvest and good crops. Each year, the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England organizes a full day event to celebrate this important holiday. Come enjoy stage performances of Asian folk dance, lion dance, Chinese opera, and other entertainment. You can also browse the many vendor tables throughout the streets of Chinatown for food, gifts and souvenirs.

- 8/17 Easton300 Criterium Bike Race, North Easton, MA - Watch top professional cyclists battle it out in a race you won’t want to miss!
