Mindfulness With Animals View Our JUST WON IT Winner

Join us at the Animal Barn on Saturday, April 19th from 10am-11am as we sit with the animals and practice a guided “Mindfulness with Animals".

This unique 1-hour opportunity to be surrounded by donkeys, goats, and sheep is open to adults 18 and over and is intended to reduce stress and anxiety.

Mindfulness refers to the practice of being fully present in the moment. It involves focusing on the here and now, allowing individuals to become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and surroundings without judgment. This mental state encourages a greater appreciation for life and can lead to a more peaceful existence.

BD

BD is a handsome Shepherd Hound mix who is up for adoption. This boy was sadly chained up for his 2 years of life. Fortunately, he is on rescue now and loves every minute of being a house dog. BD loves belly rubs and is a big cuddle bug. He does well with other dogs and due to his energy level would do best with children over 5. BD is learning basic manners and is doing great! He would love a new family that will spoil him rotten and let him lounge on the couch. Please consider this sweet boy, apply today!

Buddy

Buddy is a one-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for his forever home. This amazing guy was found on the streets and followed his rescuer home. Buddy is extremely friendly and loves to play. He is great with other dogs and would love a canine companion. He can be a flight risk off leash so he is currently in training working on this. He is young and has energy so would like an owner who can walk him and give the mental and physical exercise he needs. Buddy may have puppy energy, but he does know how to settle down and relax. He is going to make someone very happy! Apply today.

Phil

Phil is the cutest 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who is looking for his forever family. This poor guy was found injured in a heap of trash. Phil has made a full recovery and has an amazing personality. He loves to play with his canine friends, although he is dog selective so finding the right playmate is key. With a proper introduction, he would do well with a confident canine companion to show him the ropes in his new home. Phil will need an experienced dog owner who can help him be his best self. Phil has a fun-loving goofy personality who cannot wait to find his new family.

Honey Dew

Honey Dew is a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who cannot wait for her next adventure with her new family. She is a very happy-go-lucky girl who is not a couch potato. Honey Dew has a high prey drive with small animals such as cats, chickens and small dogs, which is unfortunately why she needs a new home. She would thrive in a home without the temptation of chasing small critters. Honey Dew does great with other dogs and loves to play with her canine companions. She also is a big fan of swimming so an owner that can take her swimming would be fantastic. Honey Dew will make a great hiking partner and companion! Apply today, she is an amazing girl.

Bean

Bean is a 1-year-old pit Bull boxer mix who would love a forever family. Through no fault of his own, he had been passed from one home to another. He thought he had found his forever home but the resident dog would not accept him. For his safety he was moved to a foster home. Bean loves dogs and would love a canine companion in his new home. He also loves children and does well with cats. Bean is the perfect pup who would do well in a home where he can learn the ropes and build confidence. He has the sweetest personality! Bean would thrive in most any home, don’t wait apply today.
