Dear Friends of ASLA, We know these are unprecedented times and hope this newsletter finds you “OK”.  Between the pandemic, distance learning, fires, heat and life we are all being stretched but know ASLA is still here to support you! See below on how to connect with our team. We have community events listed below but continue to provide content on our facebook page at AutismLA on community webinars, IEP navigation during distance learning, food banks, diaper drives, backpack and rental supports in response to priorities of our community during the Pandemic.   The past 3 months together with The State Council on Developmental Disabilities and our partners we have helped distribute PPE to individuals and group homes.  Thank you to ALL who contributed to "Operation Mask".  If you still need PPE please see flyer below. During September join us for: How to Navigate Trusts and Services, including CalABLE Accounts (see flyer below) Autism Society of Los Angeles and Jewish Los Angeles Special Needs Trust are partnering to provide a informational webinar.  We always learn new information from Michelle Wolf!
