Together, we’ve already sponsored 283 children, but 297 children still need your help. To continue the momentum of the Give-A-Thon, we’re extending our event through the end of the month. Participate by sponsoring a child in Marshfield Area United Way's Nutrition On Weekends (NOW) program and help us fight food insecurity in our community. Your support provides weekly food packs to children throughout the school year, ensuring they have the nutrition they need to grow and thrive.

Whenever there's a need in our community, United Way is there. Marshfield Area United Way cares about creating a future where everyone in our community not only has their basic needs met, but also has the opportunity to thrive.

Did you know that spending $3 on a breakfast sandwich twice weekly adds up to $312 a year? That same $312 could help support one year of Home-Delivered Meals for homebound individuals in our community. Please join us in welcoming Mary Besler, our new Finance and Administrative Assistant!

Mary joined us in October 2024 and brings over 25 years of leadership and management experience including owning Creative Paint and Decorating with her late husband, Todd. Before officially joining our staff, she volunteered with United Way and served on various committees as well as being active on local boards such as Marshfield Blue Line, Youth Hockey, and the Marshfield Planning Commission.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and two “fur kids." She also loves sports, traveling, reading, puzzles, and board games. We’re thrilled to have her on our team!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Happy Hour events! We're incredibly grateful for your support which helped us raise a combined total of over $11,000. A big thank you to our servers and host establishments for making these events such a success. Your generosity means the world to us!

At a special holiday volunteer event, our Retiree Coalition and Festival Foods teamed up to decorate a delicious holiday cookie for each of the 590 children in our Nutrition On Weekends (NOW) program. Their kindness and creativity brought a little surprise and extra joy to the NOW food packs this week for our NOW children.

We want to thank our retiree volunteers and the crew at Festival Foods for spreading love (and frosting!) and making this event a sweet success!
