Schedule of Upcoming Holy Week Events

April 14, 9:00 and 11:00 am Palm Sunday
Join us on Palm Sunday for this joyous service. We will celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem with the waving of palm branches and shouts of Hosanna!

´╗┐April 18, 7:00 am Maundy Thursday Service

Foot Washing Eucharist. Come for this surprising and intimate celebration of the Last Supper, where our Lord instituted the Holy Communion, and upended our understanding of hierarchy and service by washing his disciples' feet.
April 19, 7:00 pm Good Friday Service

Join us for this somber remembrance of our Lord's painful death for us. We participate by literally nailing our sins to the wooden cross for the forgiveness of our sins. We burn up the cards with our sins written on them. We begin and end in silence, awaiting Easter. Come anytime during the day Friday for open prayer before the service.
April 20, 9:00 pm Easter Vigil

Christians all over the world celebrate the Easter Vigil. Contemplative service, with light only by candles, chanting, praying litany, hearing lessons of Scripture, and closing with a glorious celebration of Easter Eucharist with alleluias! Bring your bells to ring with every "Alleluia!"
April 21, 9:00 & 11:00 am Easter Celebration

Don't be late for the opening drama of the Resurrection! Sing with us the Alleluia songs of the resurrected Christ. Please invite some neighbors to come with you - it's uplifting and there will be an opportunity to receive Christ.
Egg Hunt at 10:30 am

Easter Egg Hunt for the little ones will be held between the services at 10:30am.

Holy Week Invite
´╗┐ by Pastor Clancy Nixon

As Holy Week proceeds, I'm encouraged by God's great love for us. This is the high holy season of the year in the Christian calendar, as we rehearse the momentous events of Jesus' primary work on Earth: from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday; to teaching his disciples to abide in Him and serve each other on Maundy Thursday; to his death on the Cross for our sins on Good Friday; and his glorious Resurrection at the Easter Vigil, and then at the great celebration on Easter Sunday.
I pray that you and your family will participate in this remarkable drama of resurrection life by worshiping at as many Holy Week services as you can. Please invite a neighbor or two to come with you on Easter. Please pick up some invite cards at Church, and put them in your wallet or purse so you always have it with you.+
"To increase attendance, I have decided to make every Sunday Easter Sunday."
