Ministry of Hospitality/Coffee Roster

Norma and Martha are working on the Coffee Roster to start September 12..

1. If your name was on the previous roster and you are willing to take part, again, you do not need to do anything. We will sign you up.

2. If your name was on the previous roster and you do NOT want to take part, again, please let Norma or Martha know by August 15 and we will take you off the list.

3. If your name was NOT on the roster and you would be willing to take part, please let Norma or Martha know by August 15, so we can add your name to the roster.

For the month of September we suggest NOT having goodies so we don’t have to worry about the dangers of sharing food. When there are further guidelines we can start having some simple snacks.

Thanks for your help,

Norma Farquharson - normafar@shaw.ca

Green Line Victory:
The Green Line, as announced by Mayor Naheed Nenshi and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last week, is a go. A news release from the Government of Alberta on Monday also confirmed they have reviewed the City of Calgary's business case for the Green Line - and approved it. This means all three levels of government are onboard the Green Line and, in the fall, construction in the Beltline begins.
