If you are not aware, as of June 1st, 2023 Glasfloss Industries converted to be a 100% Employee-Owned and Operated corporation (ESOP). This change is ownership only. The Company, Management, Employees, and operations all continue to operate as we have for the past 88 years. Our Employee owners and company are committed to serving customers within the HVAC Air Filtration Industry with great products and service. We hope the new company structure removes uncertainty about our loyalty to Customers and the future of Glasfloss. 

Don Kingston (CEO) retired in June after 32 years of service. We are extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn and benefit from Don’s wisdom and wish him and his family many years of happiness. 

Don provided plenty of time to prepare for his departure. Last September Darryl J Heffline (DJ) was hired as our COO. Darryl has an impressive resume with decades of manufacturing and managerial expertise. He spent the past ten months learning Glasfloss business from Don and our leadership team. If you haven’t met DJ yet, chances are many of you will in the coming months. I think you will find he has embraced our way of conducting business and diligently supports Glasfloss' efforts to serve customers. If “proof is in the pudding,” our goal is for customers to receive products “On Time and In Full” going forward.

Don Kingston Retirement

After serving Glasfloss and our customers for over 32 years, Mr. Don Kingston retired June 14th, 2024. Don has been the sincere, straight talking senior executive many have known as the face of our company. Don was a force behind much of Glasfloss’ evolution, growth and success for the past three decades. He wanted to ensure that post COVID we were refocused on the mission and that our ESOP conversion was firmly in place. With those goals met he passed the torch to our very experienced leadership team. We will honor him by continuing our 88-year tradition of dependably serving the needs of our industry.

Daryl Heffline, COO

We are pleased to welcome Darryl Heffline to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer for Glasfloss. Mr. Heffline brings over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics and serving customers. With his degree from Penn State in Business Logistics and his years of experience with companies such as Kimberly-Clark and Bell Helicopter, he will bring depth to our already talented leadership team. His philosophy of employee and customer first fits perfectly with the established Glasfloss business philosophy. 

Greg Gardner Promotion

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Greg Gardner to Director of Inventory, Logistics, and Distribution. Greg has distinguished himself in several positions during his 29 years at the company. His new role will lead and coordinate efforts to optimize inventories and logistics across operations nationally.

Todd McGrath Promotion

Todd McGrath has been promoted to Director of Engineering. Over the past 24 years Todd has progressed through several engineering positions within the company. In his newly expanded role Todd will spearhead and align engineering efforts across the entire organization. In addition, Todd is currently serving his third year as Chair of ASHRAE Standard 52.2 committee.

Brian McGarity Promotion

Brian McGarity has been promoted to VP of Manufacturing. During his 23-year tenure Brian has climbed the ladder from the production floor to Director of MFG. In 2005 he became the plant manager of our Jacksonville FL location and has been a key member of our manufacturing group ever since. Brian’s new role will be to guide and direct manufacturing teams at all facilities.
