In honor of Women's History Month and the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote, we’re working to get 100 new members to join our ranks before Women’s History Month ends on March 31. Will you be one of them?
Perhaps you have been a CWNY member in the past. Consider renewing your membership before March 31 so we can continue the fight for women's rights.
Our Domestic Violence Panel hosted by CWNY President Victoria Pilotti (top photo, on right) on Feb. 12 was a great success. Expert panelists addressed this critical topic, followed by Q and A periods. Among the panelists were
Susan Jacob, Executive Director, New York City Family Justice Center;
Sergeant Joseph Alohan, NYPD Domestic Violence Unit; and
Amanda Burden, Training and Outreach Supervisor, Mount Sinai Sexual Assault Violence Intervention Program (SAVI). See the full list of panelists and more photos on our

Women's Rights Poster Contest Winners Announced
CWNY invited students in grades 5 – 12 in the five boroughs to create an original poster reflecting a women’s rights theme, and submit it via photograph. We received a wonderful set of submissions. The top 3 winning posters are in the animation above. Click the button below for the names of the winners and larger poster images.
