Supporting Whole Women's Health Clinic

Agape' MCC is partnering with Westside Unitarian Universalist Church to support the staff of Whole Woman's Health Clinic with goodies and flowers. Both of our congregations are certified Reproductive Justice Congregations and in the wake of legislation that undermines women's choice and health needs we want them to know that we care and are holding space for the services they provide.

If you would like to help with a small donation of 5 to 7 dollars that will go towards goodies from minority owned businesses we would appreciate that! You can drop off your donation at Agape' or donate through any of our online sources via our website: Agapemcc.com.
Seeing beauty is a skill for happiness - lessons from...

Some days seeing the beauty in the world is easier than others.

Some days the beauty literally puts itself in our path. We are forced to slow down, be present, and relish in the beauty.

Today this tiny creature landed on my windshield as I was parked. I was astonished at how tiny it was. Intricate and mighty in its own right.

I challenge you to find beauty today.
Dear God who created Heaven and all that is our beautiful world,

Thank you for being in our lives and for the incredible gift of being able to know you personally and to come to you in prayer.

Thank you for continuing to forgive our sins as we continue to commit them.

Thank you that each new day allows us a new opportunity to embrace and appreciate the beauty of your world - and to touch the lives of others.

In the midst of our wavering physical, mental and spiritual health, thank you for healing us.

In the midst of our despair, thank you for giving us hope.

In the midst of our weakness, thank you for always giving us the strength we need.

In the midst of anxiety, uncertainty and confusion, thank you for sending us peace, comfort and discernment.

Help us to tune out the 'noise' of this world and sit in silence so we can hear your voice.

Hear our prayers gracious God. In Jesus' name we pray...Amen
