Sunday service will be held in the Agape' MCC parking lot!

The October 25th service will begin at 10:30 AM. We will also stream the service on Facebook Live. (We have a plan to reduce or eliminate the wind noise that was a problem at our last outdoor service.)

Please leave a parking space in between cars and wear your masks if socializing. We would ask that you practice social distancing guidelines.
Scheduled Events

Agape' will resume in-person worship November 1, 2020

What you need to know...

1) We will be using a reservation system for our available seating. Please email us to reserve your seat(s). Please include your name and the name(s) of your guest(s) in the email. We have a limited seating capacity of 30. We are asking you to reserve a seat so we can plan for a safe seating arrangement. This also provides us with a record of our attendees just in case we have a need for contact tracing. Reservations is not something we would normally do but these are not normal times. We are being proactive and careful with the people we love and cherish.

2) Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of service at 10:30. We will be checking temperatures at the door.

3) Please wear your mask during the entire service and please maintain social distancing.

Cannot wait to see you live and in person! You are loved!

Namaste!
2020 Congregational Meeting Information
Our Congregational Meeting Forum is scheduled for November 8th and the Congregational Meeting is scheduled for November 15th both following our morning Worship Service. The Board of Directors are working on a hybrid plan that will allow both in-person and Zoom participation. We will have more details in the weeks to come. Stay tuned to this space.
Just a reminder to check out the Agape' website
In 2019 we worked with Smat Consulting to develop a new website for Agape' MCC.  Smat Consulting helped us to create a new website from the ground up that is more up to date and better reflects who we are.  The website is updated each week with information about upcoming services, Wednesday gatherings, as well as the latest video recordings of services and links to the current and past newsletters.  There are many other resources on the website, including board reports and donation information.  If you have not visited our new website, please check it out and let us know what you think.

Creator God
Loving God
God of many names

Thank you
For your constant Presence—day to day, moment to moment—
in these challenging times, and at all times.
Thank you for knowing us,
and for making yourself known to us through your boundless love.

Thank you
For being steady and flexible as we struggle
For bringing clarity to our confusion
For soothing us in times of pain
and providing solace when we grieve.

Thank you, God
You are shelter.
A place of refuge; you welcome us.
Help us to open to, and receive, your gifts.
Help us to know that we are worthy of your faithfulness to us.
Oh, God
Help us to lean in to your loving presence
in these times of pandemic and of virulent inequities.
As we mask and physically distance,
As we call out, strategize, and move in protest,
Help us to re-member and co-create with you, vibrant communities--
grounded and interconnected in love and justice
locally, regionally, and globally.

Thank you, Compassionate God
For moving beside us
For guiding and sustaining us
through your galvanizing spirit.

Amen.
