The NECA Innovator of the Year is awarded to an industry pioneer from a NECA member contractor who champions innovation and continuous improvement across their company and the entire NECA community. NECA’s Safety Professionals Institute (NSPI) is an intensive, three-day learning experience designed for current and up-and-coming safety professionals in the electrical contracting industry. Electri 2024 Summer Council Meeting Recap

As we discussed at our recent ELECTRI Council meeting in San Diego, we are seeking your support to advance important research projects. Your participation, or the involvement of someone from your company, would be greatly appreciated. Below are two of the projects.

REQUEST 1: We need help to better understand the impact of incentive pay on electrical contractors. Participants will include construction professionals from electrical contracting companies and related industry partners. Your insights will contribute to developing strategies that can enhance the effectiveness of incentive pay in the industry. To fill out the survey, please Click Here.

REQUEST 2: ELECTRI is conducting a brief survey  to gather initial insights on the implementation and impact of 4×10 work schedules in the electrical contracting industry. Your input will provide valuable perspectives to help guide our understanding of 4×10 work schedules. If you are a contractor/employer please take this survey . To get the field’s perspective, please send this survey to your field workforce.

Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention

It is an unfortunate fact that construction has the highest rate of suicide of any industry in America. We lose about 53 out of every 100,000 members of our industry EVERY YEAR to suicide. We are four times the average of other industries. We have a crisis in construction and we need to do something about it. You can visit the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention website and learn more. We urge all to take the pledge to STAND UP for suicide prevention and address it as a health and safety priority.
