USPS Releases a Little Driver's Seat
The Postal Service and Kid Trax, a top toymaker, have created a licensed USPS ride-on vehicle for children.

The vehicle, which looks like a mail delivery truck, is geared toward kids ages 3 to 5 and will be available for purchase through Amazon and the Kid Trax website, beginning July 13. The suggested retail price will be $269.

“It will be a great learning tool for kids to have fun, use their imagination and connect with the Postal Service employees who visit their home every day to deliver their mail and packages. It is also an ideal gift for employees and retirees to purchase for the children in their lives,” said Amity Kirby, the USPS licensing manager.

2021 Mobile Shopping
The 2021 Mobile Shopping promotion encourages mailers to integrate mobile technology with direct mail, thus creating a convenient method for consumers to do their online shopping. 
 
The promotion provides business mailers with an upfront two percent postage discount on USPS Marketing Mail™ letters and flats, as well as Nonprofit USPS Marketing Mail™ letters and flats. The mailpiece must include mobile technology that can be read, scanned, or activated by a mobile device and leads the recipient to a mobile-optimized shopping website with the ability to complete a financial transaction. The recipient must be able to purchase a tangible advertised product from the website that can be mailed/shipped.
Centralized Account Processing System
CAPS to Retire in October
Reminder - The USPS Centralized Account Processing System (CAPS) will retire in October 2021. All CAPS customers must migrate to the Enterprise Payment System (EPS) as soon as possible to avoid disruption.

MaxPresort Price Change Update
Anchor Software is in the process of updating MaxPresort OS with the newly approved Postal Rate Changes, which will be effective for mailings starting on August 29, 2021. We intend to release a new version of MaxPresort OS in early August to comply with the rate changes.

WinMerge

A useful app that I use all the time is called WinMerge (64bit version). Product is free to use and is freely downloadable from WinMerge.

This utility allows you to compare 2 files visually and then copy/sections or whole files with a keystroke. It does entire directory compares or single file comparisons. The later versions allow for 3 simultaneous file being compared visually at the same time.
