All these questions and more will be answered over beers and free pizza at the Find Your Element Felivelife.org Calendar Party on Wednesday, January 23. The fun starts at 5:30, guests can receive a discounted price on beer when they use the IronwoodGo! app, and some lucky folks will walk away with door prizes!

Computers will also be available to see how easy it is to add events to felivelife.org. Check out everything our area has to offer, and see how we are working together to make sure everyone knows it!

Felivelife.org is a collaborative project supported by the Ironwood, Hurley, and Mercer Chambers of Commerce, the City of Ironwood, Iron County UW-Extension, 906 Web Studios, and many others.
Saxon Gurney Fire Dept Fundraiser
The Saxon / Gurney Fire Department will hold their annual Roast Beef Dinner & Raffle on Sunday January 27, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Saxon Community Center. Tickets are available at the door for $10 adult and $5 for kids 10 & under. Door prizes, 50/50, Bag & Gun Raffle

Hygge Hike
Iron County UW-Extension, Hurley Area Chamber and community volunteers are organizing the Hygge [Hoo-ga] Hike! This is a FREE community snowshoe hike with a goal of bringing awareness to the great snowshoe and ski trails that the City of Montreal has to offer!

The afternoon will include a 1.5 mile casual snowshoe hike through a portion of the Historic Montreal Ski Trails! Participants are asked to park at the Montreal City Hall where they will be shuttled to the trail head. Children will be able to participate in a scavenger hunt! After the snowshoe event, please stop by the City Hall for a community bonfire, soup bar, hot chocolate and apple cider provided by Iron County 4-H. If you don't have any snowshoes, don't worry! The Iron County UW-Extension & MSU Extension's community snowshoes (kid and adult sizes) will be available to use for FREE! Proceeds will benefit the Penokee Rangers, Inc. who care for the trails on a volunteer basis.

Coming up on Friday, February 8 the annual Vintage Snowmobile Parade will take place. Participants will line up in Ironwood at the Depot and proceed to Hurley, line up is 6:00 pm Parade starts at 7:00 pm.

On Saturday, February 9 the Vintage Ice Oval Races will take place at Gogebic County Fairgrounds.

Get ready for the White Thunder Riders Annual Fundraising Auction, Saturday February 16. The event is held at the Iron County Memorial Building and EVERYONE is encouraged to attend.

Come out and support local businessman Rick Lanctoe, who is currently battling cancer. On Saturday February 23 friends and family are holding a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at the Beer Barrel in Hurley. For more details or to donate contact Carly @ 906-364-3992
