Every week we reach out to people going into one of the busiest Planned Parenthoods in the country.

We are joined by a good sidewalk counseling team called Love Life.

Tammy , Matt, and John faithfully try to rescue people even when it is 105 degrees hot on the sidewalk.

The original Stockton abortuary is still holding on with only a few clients going in each week. I'm still there. Please pray they just close up.

The First Ever Spanish Brochure Has Arrived

The dream has come true. After much labor by some incredible people, twenty-five thousand Spanish brochures are ready to be handed out to "sheep without a shepherd."

I am indebted to Pastor Dave Perez and his church in Tacoma, Washington, Comunidad Cristiana de Tacoma, and Pastor Carlos at La Morada Baptist Church in Stockton, California, who spent so much time translating our great English brochure into the best Spanish version. Their dedication to getting the translation right was a great labor of love for the Lord.

I'd also like to thank Mark Cahill for investing in the first batch of Spanish brochure/tracts. Mark Cahill Ministries is a great evangelistic stronghold and Mark has been one of my mentors for decades. He also supplies Project Truth with the great book he authored One Heartbeat Away during our college outreaches.

There is nothing like this in the whole world. We've already given out half a million of our English brochure.

Many "pro-life" organizations don't want to hand out our material because it has a clear presentation of the Gospel on the last page. There has always been a strange idea in most "pro-life" circles to avoid the God-factor in confronting people abort abortion. We at Project Truth reject that misguided idea and stand in the gap with the hope of Jesus Christ as the final point to talking to others about life's issues.

The West Coast is experiencing a change in the culture that requires a pivot so we can reach the Spanish world more effectively.

There were some changes that made it more appealing, such as highlighting the pro-life views of some famous people that the Spanish people love and respect.

One such guy is Cristiano Ronaldo, whose mother tried to abort him. Her abortion attempt failed and her son grew up to be the wealthiest sports star in the world.

The other man highlighted is Eduardo Verastegui, that you may know is the producer of the movie Bella and Sound of Freedom. He was also a famous actor in Mexico whom everyone knows. He is intensely pro-life and sidewalk counsels in front of abortion centers in East Los Angeles. Eduardo speaks out publicly about the evil of abortion.

I hope you noticed some changes in the newsletter. I was told to bring it into the 21st century and the Constant Contact team guided me to add cool changes. It was tough for me to change, but I do think you will find it helpful. The message and the stories are the focus of my newsletters. I plan to add a section each month for quick, clear pro-life answers to the challenges we face when discussing the abortion issue. I'll pick one claim or slogan to address for each newsletter.

Tribute to whom Tribute is Due Romans 13:7

Fred Jantz walked into Heaven last month. He was my pastor for 20 years. When I stepped out by faith to start my ministry in 1984, Fred encouraged me to "fight the fight." There were several times well-meaning people privately asked Fred to disassociate with such a confrontational ministry like mine and take a moderate approach to abortion as the pastor. Fred always stood up for me and my outreach to the lost.

He was at his best as a Discipler of Men and leaves a legacy of warriors and family who walk with our Lord today.

Fred made it into his eighties and went into the doctor for a checkup. The doctor told him that pancreatic cancer was upon him and only a few months later we were gathered, one thousand strong, in the worship center Fred had directed to be built for the honor of Jesus Christ, lifting up the Lord as He blessed Fred's life of ministry.

At 68 years old, I am seeing more and more of those who God put in my life to give direction and encouragement, finish their race on earth. It is a bit surreal and they are a reminder to run the course set before me because there are a host of witnesses among us.

I am so thankful for the encouragers who communicate through notes and email. I am forever thankful for those who have supported my ministry in every way for all these 40 years and counting.

Thank you Lord for putting the right people in my life.
