The Pen is mightier than the sword…

To paralyze the Caesars,

And to strike the loud earth breathless!

Lunch with a Mighty Man of God

Thank you Lord for Frank Turek

Frank Turek has been one of my mentors for more than two decades—a steadfast friend who’s always just a text away. We recently shared a quiet lunch before he stepped into the lion’s den to speak at UC Berkeley.

Frank remains strong in the Lord, even as he walks through the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. He now has to travel with private security at every event—a sober reminder of the cost that often comes with courage.

Through it all, his heart for sharing truth hasn’t wavered. His website, CrossExamined.org, is packed with powerful tools to help others defend and proclaim the faith. And his short video clips engaging with the lost? They’re some of the best you’ll ever see and learn from.

Finishing our Fall Tour at Boise State and back to Merced College

Project Truth finally returned to Idaho, making stops at the College of Southern Idaho and Boise State. By the end of our first day, we faced a misguided Boise State administration ready to have us arrested. Thankfully, our outstanding attorneys stepped in, holding the college accountable and stopping any unjust action. The next day, they left us alone—no jail time in Idaho.

Though the students seemed largely apathetic, we still experienced several remarkable divine appointments. A few locals stopped to join us along the way. Below left, Frank Fields stood with us—his presence stirred fond memories of our Stockton days. Many families from Stockton have since made their home here in Boise. Above right, under the big umbrella, Holly from Tiny Heartbeats also joined us, adding a familiar touch to the day.

Merced College filled with respectful students for the most part

God’s timing placed us on the Merced College campus right in the middle of Mental Health Awareness Day.

The faculty seemed irritated, thinking students might mistake us as part of their event—but in truth, we were exactly where we belonged.

Our message spoke directly to the heart of mental health. We shared that Jesus transforms minds and hearts, making all things new. That was our focus and conversation all day long with the students.

We hadn’t planned to be there during this special event, but God had. He knew. And because of that divine timing, we had countless meaningful conversations, helping students discover the power of right-thinking through Him.

My faithful warriors of Project Truth outside Planned Parenthood

The Stockton abortion mill recently planted bushes along the sidewalk, hoping to hinder our outreach and block our rescue efforts. Yet what they meant for evil, God has turned for good. The new barrier now gives clients a sense of privacy and safety—something that often opens the door to gentler, more personal conversations.

So while it may look like Kenneth from the White Rose Resistance ministry is talking to a tree, he’s actually speaking words of life to a woman wrestling with her conscience.

Just down the street, the Directions Pregnancy Center has opened its doors. Now, when women choose life, we can walk them directly to a place where real help and hope await.

Our gratitude goes out to all who made this possible—especially the faithful teams from Quail Lakes Baptist Church and Lincoln Presbyterian Church, who helped prepare the center for ministry.

And just below, you’ll see an early Christmas gift that brought great joy to my heart: meeting a remarkable woman who once managed a Planned Parenthood. Convicted by her conscience, she left that world behind and now hopes to join us in our mission from time to time. God is so good.

Updates:

Our attorneys are actively addressing the false arrest issue at San Jose State. It appears the police and university officials are delaying the process, likely because they realize someone made a serious mistake. So after the holidays, we plan to return for a victory visit and outreach to bring this matter to a rightful close.

On another note, I've completed my book and sent the draft to the publisher the Lord put in my path. I'm praying to have it in print by next summer. The book includes over fifty stories drawn from my forty years of ministry, and forty years from now I will write another one at age 110.

I am also preparing for the Spring College Tour which will begin in February.

For unto us, a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

My wife and I often travel past Mt Shasta on our way to visit family. That majestic volcano never fails to put on a show.

A few weeks ago, I managed to stop and capture one of the rare lenticular cloud formations hovering above it. Afterwards, we took the backroads, soaking in the quiet beauty of the farmlands as I made my way to the Little Shasta Church.

Thank you Lord for leaving Heaven to rescue us and for the constant reminders of Your love in the wonders around us.

Thank you for standing with me
